The views along the Champs Elysees are phenomenal from almost every point along its course, although those from the top of the Arc de Triomphe are head and shoulders above anything else in the arrondissement. The Place de la Concorde, marked by the towering Egyptian obelisk in the centre, is the largest square in the city, offering a 360˚ panorama of Paris.

The hive of cafes, restaurants and bars along the Champs Elysees, Paris, are wonderfully elegant, and many hours can be spent watching the world drifting by from the elegant luxury of a restaurant table, occasionally popping into the famous shops of world renowned galleries that are interspersed along its length.
