The house is about 3 hours drive from Sunrise and the White Mountain Ski area.
The Arizona Snowbowl is further north in the Grand Canyon area.
Golf:
The use of Terravita golf course is subject to the current GolfClub rules and regulations and availability of tee times. The 7186 yard 18 hole championship course at Terravita was designed by Billy Casper and Greg Nash and has a slope of 74.4 and a rating of 139 from the championship tees.
There is a large two-way driving range, as well as chipping and putting greens.
There are some 100 golf courses in the Valley of the Sun alone, and local ones with a range of fees e.g Rancho Manana to the Boulders.
Sedona an hour and half drive away from Terravita also features a number of courses set in spectacular surroundings.
