Bad Aussee is a spa town, 80 km from Salzburg Airport. Facilities include many restaurants, mini-golf, horse-riding and cycling, tennis, sailing, swimming, boat-tours, outdoor band concerts, local musical evenings, a museum, salt-mine visits, medieval frescoes in churches and marked walks up the mountains or around the lakes. There is ski-ing and other winter sports activities within 30 minutes drive from the apartment.
