This newly refurbished apartment offers modern living with open plan kitchen/dining area (dishwasher, flat screen TV/DVD, CD/Radio) lounge, 2 balconies, bathroom with jacuzzi bath & separate WC. Sleeps up to 6 people in 3 comfortable bedrooms. Bed linen and towels are provided. Available to rent for Spring, Summer and Autumn. Set between Salzburg (80km) and Innsbruck (100km) Jochberg is 10km south of Kitzbuehel, in the heart of the Kitzbueheler Alps. Restaurants and shops are within a few minutes walking distance from the chalet. It is perfect in summer for walking, biking or golf. There is a delightful open air pool only 10mins walk away, as well as the large 'Aquarena' indoor/outdoor pool and slides in Kitzbuehel. Local days out could include visits to the nearbye Wildlife Park, Summer Toboggon run (Rodelbahn), Glacier Skiing at Zell am See (40 mins), Krimml waterfall (45mins), Berchtesgaden National Park (Hitler's Eagles Nest) and lots more!

Full occupancy rate is applied for Christmas/New Year weeks. A deposit of 150 GBP is required to secure a booking and the balance 6 weeks prior to holiday. A 200 GBP security deposit is payable with the balance and will be returned subject to there being no damage. Guests are welcome to arrive at the property after 2pm on the day of arrival and must vacate by 10am on the day of departure, to allow time for cleaning. If travelling by car, follow the road B161 out of Kitzbuehel taking direction of Pass Thurn. 10km along this road you will come to Jochberg. Spacious well appointed apartment

Stayed in mid June this year. The apartment is well appointed and VERY spacious - it can easily accommodate 6. If you're used to postage stamp sized holiday apartments, be ready for a pleasant surprise. It is so much more relaxing on holiday to have this much extra space - the photo's can't do it justice. There are good views from balconies front and rear. It is clean, easy to keep clean, and as described.

The off road parking is next to the front door and good roads enable excursions, both near and far, from the village. Kitzbuhel is an easy 10 mins drive away. There is a medium sized Spar supermarket within 2 mins walk for your grocery needs, and other local shops within easy walking distance.

The owners are very helpful and friendly and it was an enjoyable stay.

Very comfortable apartment, fabulous skiing

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend with friends, including 2 small children and a baby. The apartment has a comfortable lounge area where we all sat and discussed the days events. I love the traditional fireplace and chimney which is the central feature of the living area. We had plenty of room and I would love to go there in the summer to make full use of the balcony off our room. We were introduced to the joys of cooking on the electric hot stone and grill, which was great fun. The village butchers was fantastic and they sliced the meats for us, it is worth visiting just to go to the butchers! We ate out at 2 restaurants in the village which were both excellent and were spoilt for choice. The ski school is excellent for the little ones, the children in our party were very happy and progressed well. The skiing was amazing and the mountain restaurants enticing. You can't beat the Gluwien in Austria. We went to watch the Hannenkahn race in Kitzbuhel which was very exciting. All in all a great holiday destination and I can't wait to go again.

Skiing Jochberg February 2009

We have just spent a week skiing in Jochberg/Kitzbuhel and were lucky enough to find this apartment on the holiday rentals site. Having stayed in similar looking places in the past it was a pleasant surprise to find out how spacious, well maintained & well equipped it was - the master bedroom is huge. Access to the whole Kitzbuheler Alpen ski area is very easy and you really can ski right back to the back garden at the end of the day. Jochberg is a pretty little village with a nice apres ski bar at the foot of the chairlift a decent sized Spar supermarket and a couple of restaurants, but if you want the hectic night life go to Kitzbuhel or any larger resort. For gorgeous mountain views from almost every window and an excellent choice of skiing this apartment is definitely the place to go. The owners Donna & Graham are very helpful indeed and only too happy to answer any questions and we would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to everyone.

Just got home from a fantastic holiday in Jochberg.
The apartment is very spacious, clean and the views from the balconies are superb.
The description was accurate about everything(location, layout, ...).
I surely can recommend this apartment to my friends and family.

Very very Good Apartment

Stayed here in April 2007, just after the ski season had finished, so village was very quiet. This was not a problem though as local shop and butchers were only minutes away and the little inn, about 30 yards down the road, was open most nights. If you want to travel a liitle further to eat Kitzbuhel is about 10 minutes drive and the restaurant in Hutte (on the right hand side driving towards Kitzbuhel) sold good hearty food. The apartment was superbly appointed, very clean and could easily accommodate 6. It had great views and was ideal to relax in after a hard day walking in the surrounding hills. Can't think of any negatives. Would strongly recommend.
