The summer and winter residence is very close to the wood in a very idyllic nature. Let yourself be inspired by the swoosh of the trees and the buzzing of the bees (own apiary). By sunset you can see the game animals (deer) running and graze close to your door. The property is very large and particularly suitable for kids to have their fun. The Chalet is direct by a hiking trail. The chalet is situated in grounds about 10000m2. Its build on 3 floors; on the first floor is a big garage and a storage room. On the second floor is a living room the kitchen one sleep room.(double bed) and one shower and one separate toilet. On the third floor are two sleeping rooms and one bathroom/toilet. In Dec. 2006 the theme-park with the name experimental-thermae-zillertal opened. The theme-park is 1,5km far away to the house of nature.

Area: Re-creative, very quiet area: the landed property is on its own and the next hamlet is 250 m away. The residence is in an own wood. The new summer and winter residence is very close to the wood in very idyllic nature. Let yourself be inspired by the swoosh of trees and buzzing of bees (own apiary). By sunset you can see the wild boars running and graze close to your door. The property is very large and particularly suitable for kids to have their fun.

The chalet: Make holiday in the privacy of one`s home. In the chalet their live no other people. The residence is just 7 km far away from the Highway A 12 called Inntalautobahn. The next is 2,5 km and a very large swimming pool and a sauna are 2 km away. The house have a great position on the map.The castle Neuschwanstein is ca.1,5houre fare from the house with the car. Innsbruck is 0,5 hour fare and Munich is ca. 1 hourefare away. Salzburg is ca. 1,5 hour fare and also the Swarovsky Christal World is ca. 0,5 houre fare away.

The town: The town is called Hart and is the region between Innsbruck and Kufstein in the lovely area of the Zillertal. Innsbruck is the capital of Tirol is just a 0,5 hours away. Salzburg, considered the cultural capital of Austria is just 1,5 hours away. ls interessdet is the Swarovsky Crystal World in Wattens is just 0,5 hours away. The Alt Muenze in Hall also 0,5 hours away. The Silberschaubergwerk in Schwaz 0,20 hours- there are so many things to see and do in Tirol.

Ski: The next ski lift is the Spieljochbahn in Fügen. It is 2km from the House. Ski touring, and toboggan about 2 km away.

Clean and comfortable

Four of us stayed here in November, 2009 for four nights. The house was just what we were hoping for. It was very comfortable, extremely clean, and tastefully decorated. Nothing was out of place and we were impressed with how well the house was built. I will list some of the extras that were very nice:
*Heated bathroom floors
*Very quiet mountain setting, with good views
*Very comfortable seating in the living room
*There was ample room for all four of us
I would definitely stay here again. Kurt was very helpful. We kind of got lost when we first arrived in the area looking for the house but if you understand how addresses work here, it isn't a problem. The people in the area are very friendly, and although we didn't speak the language, a nice man helped us figure out the way to the house. It was right where we thought it was. Perfect stay.

A great week

Our family (including 3 children under 12) spent a great week here in July. The house was exactly as we imagined it would be - very modern and clean with everything that could be expected. There was great space for the children to play in around the house and the steep hill was great for running off some energy!
The house is in a lovely quiet location, well away from the sometimes busy main Zillertal road. There was plenty to do in the immediate area and being so close to the Salzburg/Innsbruch autobahn meant that we were spoiled for choice as regards places to visit. The children enjoyed the choice of outdoor pools but were disappointed not to swim in each one! Next time we plan to make the most of the range of walking trails that are available! We simply ran out of time to do all the things we had planned to do.

Summer in Zillertal

The property description is quite accurate. The house is in a beautiful location and is indeed surrounded by nature, although right next door to the owners property. We visited with our two children (aged 3 and 6) and my parents. The kids enjoyed running around outside and playing on the swing set, as well as looking out for wildlife (we saw lots of deer). The house was comfortable and clean, and the only small problems were a wobbly shower head and getting clothes dry when it was raining (there is a washing machine, but no drier). We did lots of walking, loved the indoor water park, rode the Spieljoch cable car, visited the Swarovski Cristallwelten, rode the train to Mayrhofen. There are several small supermarkets in Fugen (20 minute walk or 5 minute drive), and lots of restaurants (most, but not all open during our visit in mid-late June) in Fugen and nearby Hart (10 minutes walk). Overall, we had a very good experience here.

A Find!

This is a place to recommend. Our family enjoyed ourselves thoroughly here last June and felt that we got a real feel for Austrian country living.
The house was spotlessly clean and comfortable; its surroundings lovely, enhanced by friendly, grazing cows and the farmyard. The owners couldn't have been more helpful.
We chose the rental for its convenient location only a few minutes off the freeway between Salzburg and Innsbruck.
Some days we went sightseeing, others we just enjoyed the valley, biking or taking walks. Neuschwanstein in Bavaria is only a couple of hours away, Salzburg even less. There are numerous,fascination spots to visit within a short thirty minutes distance.
We enjoyed them all and celebrated our good fortune eating delicious pastries which can be bought in most villages along the way.

The summer setting for this chalet is a property set in lovely green pastures.There are walks from the front door to the local falls and the town of Fugen with lots of restaurants in only 2000 metres away.There also lenty of other restaurants nearby.The local water park is good fun.

The owner Kurt & his family are warm & friendly & keen to provide all your needs.

Cable cars are expensive to travel on so if you are thinking of using these regularly then the Ziller Valley pass is a must.

The property was lovely & clean & very spacious having 2 good modern bathrooms & a kitchen providing all your needs (although english people should note there is no kettle).The only downside is that if you have a family or are staying a long time there is no washing machine.

Very simply this is a very good place to stay and in a area of true beauty where outdoor activities abound.

very nice to hear that the holiday and the area was o.k. for you in the house off nature.
I think for the next summer period i give a washing machine in the chalet.
Two years before there was a whasing maschine in the house,but it was many problems with renters and the maschine,so i give it outside.
Also thank you for the tip with the kettle for the englisch people.
I will pay tomorrow a kettle for the house,so the englisch guests have a kettle.
