Traditional 200 yr old Tirolean Farmhouse & Luxury Apartment

Half timber traditional Tirolean family house, in a beautiful setting just a very short stroll from the village centre (1 minute!) and the ski lifts (5 minutes max in boots!). There is a lovely garden, great views and a very warm atmosphere. The house has been the subject of sympathetic restoration and ongoing renovation programme over the last few years. The One Bedroom Garden Flat sleeps up to 5 people and was totally refurbished in 2005 and is appointed to a very high standard. Winter - Skiing

The house is just a short stroll from the first lift of the Ski Welt system - over 100 lifts and 250km skiing. It is literally across the road and past the small local car park. For most of the season you can ski right back to the house.

Skiing Information:

Ski Welt is Austria's largest inter-linked ski area, which includes Going, Ellmau, Soll, Itter, Westendorf & Brixen. Over 250km of skiing and 100 lifts. Most of the area is well served by cannon for artificial snow coverage and it all starts right across the road from our house! You would be hard pressed to find a better ski house location in this area. Serious ski-safari folk can also get a vanderpass to include the whole Kitzbuhel ski region as well, accessible by car, bus or interlinked ski-lift.

So good i dont want to tell you about it!

I dont want to tell you about it in case you ruin my chances of going back again some day!. I never yet have been to a rental where i thought, yeah, lets return, but this one is brilliant. I havent stopped talking about since and we are determined to return for a snow holiday, we are checking our little addition for size next season!.
We went as two couples, no kids, and we loved it. We had a floor each, it was so massive. I think three couples would work well and would make it a bargain.
We are snowboarders and it was cool, mountain was nice and quiet for my wide turns!. No queues!. My husband loved the upper slopes too. We were thinking of switching to skiing- its perfectly set up- its so close to the tow bar which is perfect for boarders too, get those leg muscles warmed up!.
We went over to the next town and it was scary to us as we were used to the sedate village lacking in seedy tourism. Food in the supermarket was good value in comparison to the UK and Ireland. We eat supper in the house twice, pizzas and we cooked a lovely meal because products were there to use which was amazing. The system of replacing things if you finish them is excellent. We mostly eat out after breakfast and there was plenty to chose from, it felt very rustic with your goulash.
The kitchen makes you want to stay in!. It was a great excuse for us girls to finish on the slopes early and indulge in Apres-ski baileys on ice, umm, sitting back in the comfort of the warm kitchen, watching out the window. Its a winter wonderland and the neighbours we very helpful too. Couldnt say a bad word.
