2 double, 1 twin, fantastic 2nd floor quad, 2 bathrooms, sauna, sleeps 10/12

Half timber traditional Tirolean family house, in a beautiful setting just a very short stroll from the village centre (1 minute!) and the ski lifts (5 minutes max in boots!). There is a lovely garden, great views and a very warm atmosphere.

The house has been the subject of sympathetic restoration and ongoing renovation programme over the last few years. In 2009 we built a new beautiful luxury family bathroom upstairs, and installed a SAUNA and a ski drying/store room.

The One Bedroom Garden Flat sleeps up to 5 people, was totally refurbished in 2005 and is appointed to a very high standard with wooden floors, modern kitchen, luxury bathroom with underfloor heating.

This is a large, spacious and comfortable family home set over 3 floors (ground, first and second) plus full laundry facilities in the basement. There are two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom (which can be made up as a double) one fabulous quad bedroom and a double sofabed in the sitting room. There was an extensive refurbishment and remodelling programme for the 2009/10 ski season onwards, including installation of a SAUNA, a new luxury family bathroom with separate walk-in shower, a new separate wc and a fully equipped ski store with heating for clothes drying and a hot air boot drying system.

Winter - Skiing: The house is just a short stroll from the first lift of the Ski Welt system - about 100 lifts and 250km skiing. It is literally across the road and past the small local car park. For most of the season you can ski right back to the house.

Ski:

Ski Welt is Austria's largest inter-linked ski area, which includes Going, Ellmau, Soll, Itter, Westendorf & Brixen. Over 250km of skiing and 100 lifts. Most of the area is well served by cannon for artificial snow coverage and it all starts right across the road from our house! You would be hard pressed to find a better ski house location in this area.

Serious ski-safari folk can also get a lift pass to include the whole Kitzbuhel ski region as well, accessible by car, bus or interlinked ski-lift.

Golf:

There are at least 14 golf courses within 1 hours drive of the house. The nearest is in Ellmau, which includes a driving range, walkable from the house or a 2 minute drive.

Fantastic place, perfect stay

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful place in Going . All is well organised at arrival,very clean, the welcome pack was very helpful to feel comfortable and “like being home” from the very first minute, especially to fully equipped kitchen with the provisions helped to enjoy the place from the beginning. An orginal Tyrolian house with all modern amenties that makes a vacation a relaxing one. Very good customer service starting with good communication and detaile welcome pack with useful things to know. Definetly recomend this place.

Just Superb!

Searching for a Christmas week ski holiday, we were lucky enough to stumble into a cancellation. We were two families in the main house, and had friends in the separately-rented flat as well. The house is modern, well maintained, and couldn't be more convenient. Cross the street to rent skis, then 100 meters more to the closest lift. Going is on the least-traffic'd end of the Skiwelt complex, so we experienced smaller crowds and better slope conditions. But it's still easy to get to the bigger hills. Owner provided a very detailed multi-page guide to the house and local area that we referred to over and over again. Overall, superb! We'll definitely be back.

Could it get any better!

This is our 3rd visit to Dorf30 and next year is booked already! We (all 13 of us from 75 - 10yrs) had another magical week skiing in Going. Again we found the local ski instructors are "simply the best" friendly and great with kids or all ages. Basically it would be hard to beat Going and dorf30 as a family ski holiday – it has everything!

This years house improvements (sauna, luxury bathroom, boot warmer) are a great addition. After a hard days skiing on the slopes to be able to return to the house and relax in the new spacious sauna, getting rid of all those aching muscles was absolutely fantastic! What more could you ask for!

Most evenings were spent relaxing in this spacious, warm, cosy house - home away from home!

As the local amenities were so close we didn't even rent a car this year. We got a taxi from Munich Airport – which worked out great. No driving stress! Unfortunately all good things must come to an end but to honest (all 13) just didn’t want to leave. This is definitely a very special place and has to be highly recommended.

Great house at a fantastic location! Very comfortable and spatious with sauna and skiroom. Just across the street are the lifts to a great skisystem. Our 4 kids just loved it and if they get their will we will be back.

really a jewel

According to the description it was reasonable to suppose that this holiday home would accomodate our needs, but in fact it was far beyond our expectations. The house is really a jewel, well equipped and extremely comfortable.
We could not have picked a better place, the house is very well located, in walking distance to the first lift and to the "Schischule Schwaiger" (very friendly instructors!)
What a great week in this comfortable chalet - we would like to come again!
