The apartment is ideally located for ease of access to all local major ski areas. so it is about the same travel time and distance to Kaprun Maiskogel (4km) as to Areitbahn-schuttdorf-Shmittenhoe (6km).

The ski bus is free with the ski lift pass.

The bus stops only 100 m from the door of the apartment with 3 seperate departure times in the mornings and 3 more returning times in the afternoons in high season.

If you wish to go further afield you can get to the Kitzbuhl ski area easily by car or local transport; for example by car it is just 30 minutes to the Panormabahn lift to the Kitzbuhl area or 40 minutes into Kitzbuhl town itself

Or you can try out Salbach-Hinterglemm about 20-30minutes by car or take the buses

But really there is so much skiing in the local area most people not feel the need to travel further!

Ski cannons are there to ensure all season slopes.

There are beautiful golf courses close by

The nearest in full view of all the local mountain scenary is beside Furth about 2 km from the apartment

This overlooks the new Spa and swimming pool- Hotel-Wellness Centre being built so that by the end of 2010 you can relax in the Spa after after a day of golfing!

There is also a lovely course near Mittersill about 20 minutes drive in the car- around 15-20 km from the apartment
