Every kitchen is equipped with all modern equipment like a dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine and cooker for tea, 4 vitro-ceramique cooking plates, refrigerator, freezer. Necessary kitchen utensils and tableware, table cloths are available for 2 (Sylvius) 4 (Cloeps) or 6 persons (Goetseels). Bed linen, bath and kitchen towels are available. In the utilities room a common washing machine and dryer are available, as well as a flat-iron and ironing board and a barbecue. House B (4 adults) is named after Jan Cloeps, the last owner of a patrician family living in Brussels that rented the farm to farmers before the Jesuits bought it. House Cloeps compares in size and structure with house Goetseels. Large door glasses give a beautiful view on the inner court yard. Every kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, 4 vitroceramique cooking plates and refrigerator. Necessary kitchen utensils and tableware are available for 4 persons. Bed, bathroom and kitchen towels are available.

The houses are part of the farm with gardens and an inner-court yard. The ‘Jezuïetenhof’ is a farm with a long history going back to 1450. It derives its name from the Jesuits university college of the university town of Louvain that owned it back in the 18th century. In 2003 the farm has been renovated again, respecting its history. The farm is no longer exploited by a farmer, although Wild Aberdeen Angus cattle is running on the fields. Three newly built houses, located in the southern aisle of the farm are weekly rented for visitors of Louvain and Flanders. The three houses all have modern comfort. The environment in the middle of nature, the easy access from highway E314, the location at only 5 km of the old and lively university town of Leuven and at 25 km of Brussels, the centre of Belgium makes this holiday house an ideal starting point to visit Belgium. Biking in the green belt around Brussels and Leuven in Summer.

  • Services at 20 euro per person for cleaning, bath and kitchen towels and bed linen. Electricity, gas and water consumption are not charged extra for weekly rates.

  • Early reservations can pay 100 euro in advance and the remaining amount by bank transfer 6 weeks before.
    Note on the bank transfer your name, period and apartment name.

    Outside the high season, from Sept 1th until May 31th, longer rental is possible for a period of minimum 4 weeks at 260 euro per week + 10 euro per week for gas, electricity, water and 5 euro per person for bed linen, bath and kitchen towels, to be washed by our guests during their stay. Hence, total weekly rent is 275 euros. Cleaning of the apartment is charged only once, at 50 euro for the whole period.

    A warranty of 100 euro is requested and given back when leaving.

Wonderful stay in Belgium countryside

We stayed for one week with my husband and 2 children. The property is located in a village about `15 minutes northeast of Leuven, a city about 30 minutes from Brussels. It is located on a farm, quiet, green, spacious, very nice to come back to after a long day of sightseeing. The apartment is furnished with 2 king sized beds (I've been staying at self-catering for 10 years and this is the first time I've had not one but 2 king sized beds) with excellant mattresses and linens. Well-equipped kitchen, very clean and well kept up.
The owner Annabel is a warm and helpful person and was available whenever we needed here with help and suggestions. She and her family live on site.
This is one of the nicest self-catering locations that I have ever stayed at. The only downside is that if you are heading west to Brussels or north to Antwerpen, Brugge, etc. you have to go around Brussels which has horrible traffic jams during rush hour. Either get an early start(0700) to avoid them or take the train. Also, the bedrooms are located on an upstairs balcony which is open to the ground floor- privacy is somewhat limited.
