Holiday Rental home 'De Hoedenmaker' is a beautiful, traditional-style home located in the heart of old Bruges. Built in the 1600's it has all the charm and elegance of Renaissance Europe, but with fully modern comfort and convenience. Located in the peaceful St.Gilles quarter, it is only a 5 minute walk to Markt square and the centre of town. 'De Hoedenmaker' is a 3-level house with a total of 100 square meters (1100 sq. ft.) living area, including full kitchen, private walled-in garden, and private roof-top sun terrace. Large, comfortable beds ensure a relaxing and enjoyable visit. The house is professionally managed and maintained; references available upon request.

The facade is built in the traditional step-gable style that is typical of the finest Renaissance homes there. The kitchen includes a full complement of cooking utensils and cutlery. The house faces south and takes in plenty of sun year round.

About Bruges: : The town of Bruges has been called 'the most perfectly preserved medieval city in Europe'. It has an ideal mix of ancient buildings, canals, museums, cobblestone streets, and charming little squares, all within a comfortable and human-scale city. A 'House Book' in the house contains much information on local shops, restaurants, history, and sights.

Cancellation:: Refund of deposit, less 10% of rental due, for cancellation more than 30 days prior to rental. Refund of deposit, less 35% of rental due, for cancellation15-30 days prior to rental. Full rent due if less than 15 days prior.

Lovely house! The description was accurate to the last word and the owner and her agent a joy to deal with. Everything went just as planned. The house is perfect for holidaying families, with comfortable good facilities. Location is great - central enough to walk everywhere but out of the bustle of the touristy town centre. The owner has put together a great 'guidebook' to Bruges and we tried several of the recommended restaurants, which were all of a good standard.

We had a great time!
