We are situated in the historical town at 8 min walking distance from the 'Markt' (main square). 'AT HOME' is an old house dating from the 19th century renovated with all the modern facilities. 'LA TOUR' (tower) is a 'Folly' from 18 century. It's a protected monument of the city of Bruges. The decoration is a compromise between design and antiques. The gardens created by the owner, who's a landscape architect, are really delightful.

There is 1 full equiped kitchen, 1 dining room, 1 living, 1 hall, 2 doubles rooms, 1 room with staked beds, 2 bathrooms. There is a little supermarkt at 150 m from home. Car is absolutly not necessary. Free private parking in the garden. We accept credit card. .

We spent a wonderful week at this Bruges house Oct 4 to Oct 9, 2009. It exceeded our expectations. The beds were very comfortable, the house clean and well furnished, the garden and terrace view from the living room was great. Unlike many European rentals, there were plenty of bathrooms! We could look out our front door and see one of the canals. We could hear the horses and carriages on the cobblestones at night--fabulous. It felt like we were back in time. We walked everywhere without any problems--less rain would have been nice, but it didn't stop us. The restaurants recommended by the hosts were spot on! Great Flemish stew at Oud Handbogenhof, good meals at Oud Brugge too! We hope to return to Bruges again. When we do, we will stay at the this house. What a wonderful week! Wendell and Charlene

Wonderful house in Brugge

We stayed here in April for 12 nights and there were four adults. The house was wonderful and we enjoyed the patio and the bikes that were available for our use. The house is located in a great area near a canal and there are great places to eat and drink if you don't feel like going to the market area to eat. We were vey happy here and will be returning again in April 2010. The owners Francis & Louise are very helpful and I sent a TON of e-mails asking questions and they were always very nice to me and helpful in every way. Teh fireplace is a great area to spend time in the evening. Having a parking place was great since it can be very hard to find parking in town and we had a car.

we are a group of 5 women who like to lunch all over europe, this was a magic house central, with everything anyone could ewish for. a magic time was had by all. The only slight thing was a couple of us had worries getting up the small spiral staircase. not very child or elderly friendly

Our party of 6 stayed at this holiday flat for 3 nights in April 2008 before embarking on a river cruise on Belgium and Holland. The flat was very well located, clean, comfortable, spacious and well equipped for our purposes. The owner who lived next door was very friendly and helpful. Excellent value for a holiday rental flat.

A charming house

We spent a wonderful week in Brugge in april2008. The house is charming with a lot of old bends on the ceilings, and old furniture. It is situated close to the old town on the little quiet street. It has a little garden on the back site, and is a wonderful place for someone looking for a rest in an ancient town. The owners are really nice and friendly,
always ready to help.I was traveling with my 82 years old mother, and I really appreciate the help they gave me. Beautiful place for those who
love old houses,old towns, and don't care about evening life!!
The easy reach of Antwerp, Gent and Brussels makes this place worth
seeing!!
