Notes to the rental rates

• Minimum rental period is 7 nights. In certain circumstances we can rent a property for a less period, please enquire with us. Cleaning not included. (If you would like to have someone to clean your apartment, we can offer you this from US$20 - US$50, dependent on the size of the apartment).
  We can also offer you a monthly rental discount, there can be other discounts also depending on the period (after 14 nights in some cases depending on the owner and period of the year). For rentals in excess of 1 month, the utility bills must always be paid (electricity & gas).
  
• A non-refundable reservation deposit of 30 % of the rental value is needed for to confirm your booking.
  As we receive numerous rental requests every day and issue plenty of offers also, we operate a strict first come, first served policy. Once we have confirmed your reservation and received your deposit, we cannot offer you a refund if you cancel your trip. It is therefore advisable to be absolutely certain of your travel arrangements, before committing yourself. Once we confirm the dates of your booking, for obvious reasons, we refuse other requests for that apartment, in good faith. If you cancel at the last minute, it is difficult for us to find other renters for the same apartment for the same time. As I am sure you appreciate, we also have commitments to the owners of the properties.
  
• At Rioapartments, we offer our clients an airport pick up service, either via a chauffeur driven car or minibus, straight to the apartment or to our office, for a fixed price. US$40.00 for a car, US$50.00 for a minibus.
  If you decide to use our airport pick up service, you will be met by a driver at the arrivals terminal and driven directly to your apartment, with the minimum of fuss and inconvenience.
  If for whatever reason you decide to cancel the transfer service, please advise us 72 hours in advance (otherwise we may not be able to cancel and you will be charged for the service.
  We also have cell phones for rent!
