Photos and Description of this Varna holiday villa 4 bedroom, 2 wet rooms, sleeps 8-10

The villa's sun terrace has been designed to capture the sun for as long as possible, whilst offering privacy and overlooking the ancient monastery and surrounding hillsides. The small complex of villas share a pool, restaurant, bar. The site has been enlarged and includes an additional pool. Add the benefits of an English speaking manager, airport pick up and you might be tempted to spend the day on the complex. The villa has a well equipped kitchen, satellite TV, Hi-Fi and a small book and DVD library. It has remote control air conditioning and being a villa, everything is on one floor, making it ideal for families and the elderly. Compare these benefits with other isolated villas in the hills and you will soon realise the ideal setting of the villa. More photographs can be seen at our website, please ask for link. Some guests have hired a car, some from the airport and some from the site. It can be challenging as some of the road signs are in cyrillic characters.

In a great, location ideal for families, not isolated or in the hills, the villa complex is ideally located and is just 4km from the resort of Albena easily reached by Taxi, bus or walking via a safe path. Albena has stunning beaches and a vast array of leisure activities. Conveniently located, other attractions are the quaint town of Balchik where you will also find the Queen's summer palace and gardens. Golden Sands is a busy resort worth seeing and the city of Varna is a busy thriving city with culture thrown in. St Konstantine has an unbelievable HOT spa where you can spend all day on a VIP ticket for less than £4, don't miss this one. Albena has a bus station offering low cost travel to many places.

Home from home

Villa as stated in description: very spacious, comfortable
and clean, with many sleeping arrangement options. Felt like home from home. Owner very helpful with our numerous questions. We had a teenager and granny (who uses a wheelchair) with us. Being on one floor very advantageous and safe for children, and grannys with mobility problems. It was quiet at night: no karaoke or such at the poolside to keep everyone awake!
Complex very well maintained, and nothing too much trouble for staff: especially Theodora (manager). The onsite restaurant is cheap and food very good. Nice to have choice of two pools. Down the hill is a supermarket and taverna, not much english spoken but very friendly. We hired a car (got a good deal when we enquired at the restaurant) and explored further afield which was interesting. Road signs can 'peter out', but mostly have the english equivalent on them, so you eventually find your way! On busy days/evenings block parking can happen. Albena beach lovely, go further along to 'shipwreck' and it is less crowded. Balchik lovely harbour town: see palace and gardens. Kranevo is cheap and cheerful for eating out and shopping. St Konstantine spa is a must do, nice resort to wander around too. Varna: go to park, and municipal beach ok. Aqua park good for kids.
All in all a great place to stay and relax / explore! You wont be dissapointed,A good base for sightseeing if you hire a car.

A great option if you don't want to go to a hotel

We are a family of 8 adults + a 2 years kid that rented the Villa for a week.
The Villa is in a good location, whether you want to go to the beach (Albena is great and very close) or travell in the area. It is only 10 minutes from the golden sands in case you seek for the night entertainments.
But in case you want to be in Varna day and night it is a bit far away (half an hour) but it's Ok if you want to just visit Varna.
The Villa is well equiped and was clean when we got there. It has a sun balcony that is very nice. The resort is very nice as well and has 2 pools, one next to a very good and cheap restaurant, and there is a supermarket 2 minutes of walking in the village, so you have many options for breakfast and supper.
The owner of the Villa is very nice and we got the deposit back in case you are worried...
