Dana Point Harbour is a magnificent feat of engineering, and is a great centre of activity in the town. Dana Point has a wonderful, reliable climate, with warm summers and very mild winters. January, February and March have the only rainfall worth mentioning, but even then, monthly temperatures still average over 16˚C. During the summer (June until the beginning of October) sees average temperatures reaching up to 30˚C in a good year.

Orange County’s ‘John Wayne’ Airport (SNA) is located within an hour’s drive of Dana Point, but doesn’t receive any direct flights from the UK. There are however, plenty of internal flights to John Wayne Airport from airports throughout the USA.
