The entire property was landscaped in June 2007 and is even more beautiful than the current photos shown here. 157Glenview is a fully furnished 2 bedroom / 1 bath home, offering a fully appointed gourmet kitchen, modern bathroom, large fully furnished private garden patio deck in a wooded setting with gazebo, BBQ grill & gas heater, a separate exercise space. Each bedroom features a queen-size bed, a fluffy king-size down comforter, four large down pillows & soft premium sheets for your comfort. 157Glenview also includes one-car garage parking, a washer/dryer, wireless DSL internet access, fax machine, copy machine, extended cable TV with HBO, DVD player, and Sony stereo system.

perfect location, quiet neigbourhood

We stayed in this place with 4 people in March 2009.The house is excellent, has a patio and is in a totally quiet neighborhood.
We wanted to see what it feels like to "live" in San Francisco.
The photos of the placed helped us a lot with our decision and they were pretty accurate.The describtion of the place is excact,too.
The owner has been of help, friendly and quick with his respond.
There was a city guide waiting for us to help us find spots that are off the beaten track as well as wine and chocolate.

This place will be among the top 5 locations whenever we are back in town.
It is a five minutes drive to Twin Peaks from where you have an amazing view over the beautiful city of San Francisco.
The place is clean, convenient and cosy, provides enough space for four people and has a lot of ambience.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a gorgeous fridge(sorry, I'm European) and a nice oven.
Shopping facilities are close by, if you should use public transport, there is a bus stop close by and it takes you about 15 minutes to downtown San Francisco(in the morning:-).

We enjoyed our stay very much.

Lovely Quiet House

We stayed 4 nights here and found the house a lovely place to stay-very relaxing after a days sightseeing! It was clean, comfortably slept five and had the added bonus of a well equipped kitchen and stocked cupboards (eg coffee, pepper, cooking oil, washing powder etc). It was a good place for children- had plenty of board games and space in the garage to play. The garden was peaceful and well maintained.
Great views of San Francisco from Twin Peaks which is a nice walk.
Good local supermarket.
The only downside was there were no local restaurants/bars that you could walk to and you needed to get either 2 buses or a bus and train (takes about half an hour) into the sight seeing areas. However, taxis were cheap (about $12) if you can't face public transport or driving!

We rented 157 Glenview for family members in SF for my wedding. This house is very clean,well-maintained and updated throughout-no problems during our 3 night stay. It also has a beautiful porch and plantlife out back, so everyone was able to enjoy the morning sunshine!
It was extremely easy to communicate with the owner of this rental, both via email and phone. He was very accomodating and flexible. A couple of chilled bottles of wine were even set out for us as we arrived!
The location in Twin Peaks allows for some amazing views within a short distance of the rental. The only downside to this rental is the distance from many touristy things....so if you don't have a car or are not really comfortable with public transportation, you will be spending alot in cab fees!
I would definately recommend 157 Glenview to anyone who is traveling to SF and wants more for their money. It can comfortably accomodate 5-6 people and is SO much better than renting a hotel room.
