Our holiday home is comfortable and quiet with a spacious 3/4 acre garden and private sun deck. Situated in a small friendly community near long sandy beaches (good surfing facilities) and with nearby access to lakes, yet convenient for all the amenities of the Halifax/Dartmouth metro area - shopping, cinemas, bowling etc.. 25 minutes from Halifax International airport.

Ideally situated in a friendly community surrounded by woodland with local lake access, walks 'on the doorstep' and a large community playground/park area for children of all ages. The nearest beach is just 4 kms away and it is just 10 mins drive to the Cole Harbour/Dartmouth shopping malls, library and leisure centre (and ferry to Halifax).

The house was very spacious and warm when needed. It had most things you would need away from home.

If I was to criticise anything it would be that the lounge furniture was somewhat dated and mismatched - but you're only sitting in it so it's not a major issue.

Nous avons séjourné à Mineville NS une semaine. La maison est grande et confortable (nous étions 4 adultes, 2 adolescents et un enfant). Chacun avait sa chambre. C'est la campagne et la tranquilité. 2 suggestions: travailler sur l'humidité de la maison (odeur désagréable), et il n'y a pas de dépanneur à proximité. Propriétaire très ouvert et sympathique. Les accomodations très pratiques et fonctionnelles (laveuse sécheuse, lave vaisselle, etc.).
Merci pour ce beau séjour.
