Casa las Anclas is situated in the heart of Playa Blanca, 50 metres from the promenade, less than two minutes walk from the nearest beach and placed just moments away from a wide range of excellent shops and restaurants. This includes the excellent Cafe 34 situated below, which provides good value English meals and a nice friendly atmosphere. This apartment is ideal for a really relaxing Playa Blanca holiday. Its superb location means any walking you do will be completely of your own choice and hire of a car is unnecessary unless you want to visit other locations on the island. It is ideal for families, couples or two couples holidaying together. The apartment is extremely well equipped. It has one double bedroom and one twin bedded room, and with a sofa bed in the lounge it offers sleeping for up to 5. The apartment has SKY TV /, DVD and a PlayStation together with a selection of films, CDs and games for guests' use. The lounge and each bedroom have ceiling fans.

Lanzarote: Lanzarote has many interesting attractions for such a small island. A visit to the Timanfaya National Park is a must for first-time visitors. Playa Blanca is a beautiful and relaxed resort with a delightful promenade, interesting shops and superb restaurants. Evening entertainment is available for those who like to spend pleasant relaxing evenings rather than expend lots of energy. The Canary Island climate is ideal for both Winter and Summer holidays. Winter daytime temperatures average about 20 degrees and summer temperatures about 30. Typically there is an accompanying light breeze that makes every day feel pleasant and comfortable. Annual rainfall is approximately 4 inches.

Playa Blanca: Playa Blanca offers great opportunity for those interested in a DIVING holiday. Beginners can take advantage of the local diving schools that provide both equipment and instruction. Lanzarote is a popular island for CYCLING and bicycles can be hired locally. If you like to RUN or jog, then the Playa Blanca promenade is an ideal route. There is a very pleasant GOLF course on the island, approximately 40 minutes drive away. There is a pool available at Marina Rubicon, about 25 minutes walk, that is available for SWIMMING or just general lounging and sunbathing.

My husband and I had a lovely week at this apartment. It is just a stroll from everything Playa Blanca has to offer. There is no noise from the cafe/bar below and they would provide food to bring upstairs. The apartment is well laid out. Basic furniture but clean with everything you need. Good range of tv channels. Great sunbathing terrace, spent lots of time up there watching the sea to one side and people watching to the other. Could do with a net curtain or thin blind to double bedroom window as it backs onto another apartment, not very private so had to keep those curtains closed.
The Promenade is lovely to walk along and you can walk for miles in both directions, we did. The new Marina is lovely and we had some great meals there. Playa Blanca has grown alot since we were there last about 14 years ago but it certainly has not been spoilt. It is beautiful.
The owner was very helpful before we arrived and arranged our transfers.
Would definately use again and recommend to anyone.
