The area of Puerto Del Carmens' Old Town is the original part of Peurto Del Carmen as the name suggests and remains the favourite haunt of tourists visiting Lanzarote due to its breathtaking views from elevated positions looking over both the town and the harbour. Local bars and restaurants with great food and inexpensive prices are available easily within a stones throw of most properties in the Old Town. All food types can be found around the Old Town Harbour area with friendly restaurant staff serving both local dishes of freshly caught fish, Tapas, Canarian potatoes with exquisite sauces as well as traditional steaks, roasts chicken and Pizza. The area of the Old Town lies just nicely - a ten minute walk away from the main bustling cosmopolitan resort and its vast beaches. No car is necessary to enjoy your holiday here although, should you have car hire in mind, most major tourist attractions are within easy reach from the apartment.
