Carnival week Feb 09

We rented this apartment for 11days as we wanted to see the carnival. It was ideally situated for this, being within easy walking distance of the Old Town and the seafront. We found it clean,well-equipped,with huge en-suite bedrooms and spacious wardrobes, a lovely big balcony from which we could see the sea (and actually saw whales/dolphins?) and watch the sun setting over the mountains.The glass ceiling and indoor ' garden' made it a refreshing change from other places we've stayed.It is in a gated complex which is kept spotlessly clean- the maids & gardener were always working. There were ample sunbeds round the pools. We had a car and parking was easy, and free, at the entrance to the complex. I wouldn't hesitate to go back there.
