Our recently refurbished apartment has spectacular views over the old town, harbour and across the sea to Fuerteventura. It is on a small, friendly, privately owned complex of only 26 apartments with its own private swimming pool, terraces and loungers for you to soak up the sun all day! The apartment has twin beds, wardrobes, drawers, comfortable seating with table, satellite TV and radio. Bedlinen and towels are included. The kitchen area is fully fitted with hob, microwave, refrigerator, kettle and toaster. There is also an iron, ironing board, hairdryer and safe for your use. The balcony has a table and chairs for you to relax or sunbathe, facing superb views. The apartment, which is in a quiet area, is within easy walking distance of the Old Town, Harbour and beach. A few minutes walk away is a supermarket, hairdresser, gift shops, butcher, restaurants and bars, all situated around beautiful gardens with fish ponds and stunning views over the harbour

Nearest Airport: Arrecife at 15 Kilometres
Nearest Ferry: Arrecife at 15 Kilometres
Nearest Beach: beach at 250.0 Metres

Puerto del Carmen is on the south eastern side of the island, 15 kilometres from the airport. The town is spread along the coast with a very long promenade, white beaches, shops and bars. The old part of the town, where our apartment is situated, has a pretty harbour with many and varied restaurants, beaches and spectacular cliffs, all within walking distance. Lanzarote is well known for its volcanic, lunar type landscape, lava fields, caves, camels, palms and beaches. Some of the sights to see include the volcanic house of the famous Spanish artist and sculpture, Cesar Manrique and his magnificent cactus gardens with over 1,400 species, the National Park of Timanfaya where you can bus trip to the summit of the volcanoes. You can also go to the famous Sunday market at Teguise, have a round of golf or even a camel ride! Maybe you will want to take a boat trip across to the islands of Fuerteventura or Lobos. There are tours that can be booked through any operator.

Notes: Our apartment is ideally suited for those who wish for a peaceful and quiet holiday yet within easy reach of all the fun and bustle of the harbour, shopping complexes and beaches. It is minutes away from the local supermarket, bars and restaurants. Because the apartment is south facing, you can enjoy the sun all day long, either relaxing at the poolside, on the terraces, or on the balcony. Car hire is nearby if needed and there is parking right outside our apartment. Entrance to the complex is through a smart reception area. The apartment is cleaned weekly along with a linen change. Towels are available but not for beach or pool use. The apartment has just been completely refurbished and decorated and is regularly maintained by the owners. The property will be available from 14.00hrs on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 10.00 on the day of departure. Every effort will be made to accommodate you, if you have an earlier arrival or late departure.

Location: Our apartment, which is in a quiet area, is within easy walking distance of the Old Town, shops, harbour and beach. You can wine and dine in one of the many restaurants around the harbour, some specialising in locally caught fish and seafood. Boat trips, dolphin and whale spotting, fishing, sailing, para sailing, water or jet skiing or even a submarine safari, are all available from the harbour. There are many beautiful walks either along the beaches or inland towards the mountains. Nearby are more pretty harbours and yachting marinas, all with shops, bars and restaurants. Lanzarote has managed to retain its natural beauty by refusing to allow high-rise hotels and buildings. There are beautiful sculptures by Cesar Manrique all over the island for all to see and enjoy, as well as pristine roadways lined with palm trees and exotic shrubs.

This studio was very clean and had everything you needed,the views were just lovely,and it was so peaceful on the complex and very private.Susie the owner was very helpful,when we arrived there was a welcome package for us,which was very helpful.If you like walking or running it was an ideal base,and in the evening it was a short stroll to the busier area,or to stay in the old hour town where everyone was so friendly.We did the boat trip to Fuertumentora it was a lovely day out,and the bus service was just great and cheaper than home.Lyn from Wales

We recently stayed in this wonerful apartment and found all we needed to make our holiday most enjoyable.
The apartment is idealy located to enjoy all that Pueto del carmen has to offer. Restaurants shops and the beach are all on your doorstep.Our hosts Tim and Susie are 100%

A superb studio with stunning views

This is the third year we have stayed in this Studio apartment and have thoroughly enjoyed it. It is in a smallish complex and there are some permanent residents who were both friendly and welcoming.

We found the apartment spacious for a studio with generous space for clothes. Being privately owned the personal and little decorative touches give it a nice homely and warm feeling. If you are looking for a quiet relaxed holiday then look no further.

The views over the harbour from the balcony and the large communal terrace are spectacular. In March the sun rose at 8am and was there until 5pm, with a further hour to 6pm on the communal terrace for the sun worshipers.

The local Spar supermarket is 200 yards away where there is also a nice Italian restaurant. They both back onto a lovely small public garden with palm trees and a fish pond with some very large fish.

It is a 10 minute walk to the harbour where the local residents play Boule in the evenings. The restaurants both on the way and at the harbour are too numerous to mention but following a recommendation we tried The Bodeco just up from the harbour which was excellent.

The apartment is a 3 minute walk from the cliff top path that goes from Puerto Del Carmen to Puerto Callello - 2 miles away, a very pleasant walk.

Although the apartment is only a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport there has never been any bother with aircraft noise.

In our opinion the apartment represents excellent value for money and Wendy who looks after the property on behalf of the owner is most welcoming and helpful.

We will certailny return.

Another very enjoyable holiday thankyou
The apartment has the most perfect view of the harbour and has all the peace and tranquillity one expects from the perfect hideaway just far enough removed from the main town …so its there if you want it .
The back up from the team that look after the apartment are superb and really can’t do enough for you ..nothings too much trouble …and the security gives you great peace of mind to go ahead and enjoy your holiday !!!
