SAN FRANCISCO II is a small friendly complex in the old town of Puerto Del Carmen. The studios, of which I own two, are self contained, being one room with all amenities available, for a perfect holiday. There is a bathroom, fitted wardrobes, kitchen area with fridge, microwave, mini oven, two ring hob, toaster, kettle, iron, ironing board, dining table and chairs, twin beds. There is also a lock up safe in both Studios. One Studio has panoramic south facing sea views whilst the other faces south west over the sea, both having splendid views taking in the beautiful Island of Fuerteventura. They each have balconies with patio furniture and a parasol or sunblind. One Studio is at the top of the complex whilst the other is on a lower level close to Reception. The complex has two swimming pools connected by a water slide and provides many sun loungers for your use. There is a bar/snack-bar on site which offers a range of simple food and alcoholic beverages, soft drinks and ice cream.

Things to do

There are many places of interest in Lanzarote including the Parque Nationale de Timanfaya (Fire Mountains) where camel rides are an option, Mirador del Rio for its spectacular views north over La Graciosa, the Cueva de los Verdes, underground caves well worth a visit, Jameos del Agua, the Sunday market at Teguise, two beautiful Marinas at Puerto Calero and Playa Blanca in the south, El Golfo in the west with its green lake, featured in the film “2 million years BC”, featuring Raquel Welch. Local buses run to most areas and are inexpensive. Or simply relax around the communal pool - The complex has it’s own bar/snack bar which offers a range of simple food and alcoholic beverages, soft drinks and ice cream. This is open Monday to Saturday and generally closes around 5pm each day. If there is a special occasion, the owners will agree to stay open later, if they have prior notice.

Prices, info and supplements

The price is based on 2 people sharing. An extra charge of £15.00 p/w for a child or £25.00 p/w for an additional adult will be made. Payment for the Studio should be made in Sterling by cheque or Postal Order. Flight numbers, arrival times, clients’ names and tel numbers are required as confirmation of a booking and a 25% deposit must be received within 5 days and balance payable 10 weeks prior to UK departure. Where a booking is made less than 10 weeks prior to UK departure, payment must be made in full at the time of booking and a receipt will be provided or email confirmation will be made. As we do not refund deposits, we do urge you to take out holiday insurance so that any losses incurred can be claimed through your Insurance Company.

Cleaning regime

Bedding and Towels are provided and changed weekly. Beach towels are not provided. Clients may be met at reception but if not, the keys will be left in the key safe box at the Studio’s entrance and the number supplied. The keys should be returned to the box upon departure. Generally the Studio is available around 1pm. Whilst we try to be flexible, we generally ask clients to leave the Studio by 10.30am on departure day in order that cleaning staff can prepare the Studio for our next clients’ arrival. Dustbins are located above and below the complex. It is advised that internal bins are emptied daily by clients, to avoid encouraging creepy crawlies!
