Situated in a quiet residential area near the famous Papagayo Beach Nature Reserve, Iris is a brand new town house. It is only 3 minutes walk from the sea front and sea front promenade, and 3 minutes walk to the nearest café, restaurants and bars. This house is beautifully furnished to a high standard, and fully equipped offering all the comforts of home. If you feel tired after a hard day sunbathing or sightseeing why not spend an evening relaxing by the pool on one of our 6 sunbeds or have a BBQ and relax on the patio chairs over looking the pool.

Situated in a quiet residential area near the famous Papagayo Beach Nature Reserve, 30 Iris is a brand new town house. It is only 3 minutes walk from the sea front and beach promenade, and 3 minutes walk to the nearest café, restaurants and bars. The newly built Marina Rubicon is just an 8-10 minutes stunning coastal walk away. Continue walking along the coastal path 8-10 minutes and you will arrive at the large golden sand beach, Dorado Beach. Playa Blanca Town is a few minutes from here. This house is beautifully furnished to a high standard, and fully equipped offering all the comforts of home. These include a TV and DVD and a stereo system. To the front of the house is a part shaded patio/garden area for outdoor dining on the 6 reclining chairs and dining table. On those lazy days when you just want to relax there are six sun beds to use either by the pool or on the patio.

Playa Blanca is in the most southerly part of Lanzarote and is reputed to be the sunniest part of the island, yet has a nice breeze. Playa Blanca is a more tranquil resort than its nearest neighbour Puerto del Carmen. It has been tastefully developed, and retains much of its earlier fishing village character and charm yet is still the hub of activity. Shops, cafés and restaurants line the pedestrianised sea front promenade, which over looks the small, pretty, unspoilt beach. A lovely spot to sit, have a drink and watch the world go by! From the port of Playa Blanca you can enjoy a short ferry trip to the Island of Fuerteventura. The endless sands of the famous unspoilt beaches of Papagayo can be reached bye car, a 5 minutes drive, or along a coastal track 15-20 minutes walk.

Car hire/ getting around: Though a car hire is not essential it is recommended, it is also relatively cheap. and It does give you chance to visit some of the beautiful remote areas of Lanzarote. Walking is a great way to look around Playa Blanca especially the papagayo area. You will love walking along the sea front promenade, stopping on you way to take in the fabulous views and maybe have a drink. It is wheel chair/buggy friendly. If you do not wish to hire a car, you will have no problems exploring the Island. The 4 star Iberostar Papagayo Hotel 2-3 minutes walk from the house have numerous activities and excurtions. You simply go to the reception area situated at the front of the hotel to arrange which trips or activities you wish to book. They are really helpful and friendly. You will find this hotel quite useful in many ways! Many of our guests find the hotel useful for booking taxis, they are relatively cheap.

2 minutes walk from the house is the 4 star Iberostar Papagayo Hotel which has a buffet style restaurant open to the public., You can eat and drink as much as you like for 19 euros (approx £12), with children under 12 at half price. You pay at the reception, then go down stairs (or in the lift) to the dining room. After your evening meal why not try a quiet drink or even sample the entertainment at one of the other nearby 4 and 5 star hotels. You will be spoilt for choice at the many restaurants In Playa Blanca, and the Marina Rubicon. there really is something for everyone.

Golf: A full 18 hole course can be found at Costa Teguise approximately 40 minutes drive from the house.

Very well maintained twon house and complex

We are a family of 6, including 4 year old twins and stayed at this house 11-25 June 2009. The property is very well maintained, clean, spacious and well equipped. The complex is also very clean, relaxing and has a lovely pool. The owners were very helpful to us and provided lots of information to help us enjoy our holiday.

A 10 minute walk will take you to the beautiful marina which has some lovely restaurants. There is also a great play area for children nearby.

All amenities (bars, restaurants, beach etc) can be reached by a safe, clean and well maintained promenade which runs along the coast in front of the property. We would recommend a car to further explore the island.

PERFECT HOME, PERFECT LOCATION, PERFECT OWNERS!

This house on this location was for us just as we hoped it would be!!! The description regarding the house and the location is absolutely accurate! As it was the first time we rent a home immediatly from the owners, we had many questions. So we were very gratefull to the owners for their honest answers on all of our questions.
We absolute can recommend this house!! Not only for the house which is very comfortable and well equiped, but also for the exquise location. A beautiful promenade, always walking seaside (safe for the children), leads you to the little port with nice restaurants and beautiful shops. And if you wish, you can continue your walk to the village of Playa Blanca or even further to the lighthouse.
Walking to the opposite side, takes you to a marvelous piece of nature next to the sea with nice sandbeaches.
It was a beautiful week here, and we surely will return.
Playa Blanca is also the most sunny side of Lanzarote.
We already visit many Canarian Islands, but to us, Lanzarote is the most authentic. No high buildings, very beautiful places to visit and sightseeings not to far to drive to. ABSOLUTELY HIGH RECOMMENDED!!!

Very Relaxing

We have just returned from this property after a wonderful week relaxing in the sunshine. Property was very clean and had everything we needed. To wake in the morning to birds singing and sunshine was a bonus. Would highly recommend if you are looking to unwind. Already checking availability to book for early next year.

We spent a very relaxing week in August 2008 at this property with two teenagers and Granny. The house was cleaned to a very high standard as was the swimming pool and gardens. It was equipped with everything you would want, even down to beach towels and a welcome bottle of wine and coffee on arrival. A nice leisurely stroll (15 mins) will take you into the Marina and a bit further on (10 mins) you will come to Playa Blanca town, with loads of restaurants and bars on the seafront. Make sure you go to the Argentinian Restaurant 5 mins walk from the property.
