Situated in a quiet residential area near the famous Papagayo Beach Nature Reserve, Casa Katrina is a brand new town house. It is only 3 minutes walk from the sea front and sea front promenade, and 3 minutes walk to the nearest café, restaurant and bars. The newly built Marina Rubicon is just an 8-10 minutes stunning coastal walk away. Continue walking along the coastal path 8-10 minutes and you will arrive at the large golden sand beach, Dorado Beach. Playa Blanca Town is a few minutes from here. Casa Katrina is beautifully furnished to a high standard, and fully equipped offering all the comforts of home. Considerable thought has been placed on those little extras that help make your stay rather more special.

Playa Blanca is in the most southerly part of Lanzarote and is reputed to be the sunniest part of the island, yet has a nice breeze. Playa Blanca is a more tranquil resort than its nearest neighbour Puerto del Carmen. It has been tastefully developed, and retains much of its earlier fishing village character and charm yet is still the hub of activity. Shops, cafés and restaurants line the pedestrianised sea front promenade, which over looks the small, pretty, unspoilt beach. A lovely spot to sit, have a drink and watch the world go by! From the port of Playa Blanca you can enjoy a short ferry trip to the Island of Fuerteventura. The endless sands of the famous unspoilt beaches of Papagayo can be reached bye car, a 5 minutes drive, or along a coastal track 15-20 minutes walk.

  • Rental rates above are for up to four persons staying in the house for one week.
    For two or more weeks there is a reduction of £100. For each additional person please add £50.00.per person per week extra, up to a maximum of 6 people.
  • Discounts may be available for 2 sharing out of high season. Deposit of £100 per week, refundable up to 8 weeks before departure. A Safe is provided at no extra charge. . The balance is to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival. Any other queries?
  • LONG LETS ARE AVAILABLE

    For EXAMPLE A 4 WEEK STAY BETWEEN JANUARY TO mid July

    OPTION 1, £1,100 FOR 4 WEEKS (£300 per week for up to 2 people)

    If you are happy to do without the end of week mini cleans & laundry change, the final clean will be done by the
    house keeper. WE WILL PROVIDE 2 SETS OF SHEETS AND TOWELS, we do have a washing machine and drying area.

    £1,460 this will include weekly laundry changes and three end of week mini cleans and the final clean.

Casa Katrina: Casa Katrina is furnished to a high standard with Satellite TV and a fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, oven and hob etc. There is a washing machine and iron in the utility area. The front of the house has a part shaded patio/garden with a table and 6 chairs and good size BBQ , ideal for outdoor dining. There are 4 sun loungers which can be used on the patio area or to relax pool for those days when you may not wish to stray far from the comforts of the house All this is over looking the pool, with view to Fuerteventura !

House-keeping : Towels and T towels are provided, We also have a washing machine available so that guests can keep towels free. Bed linen and towels are changed weekly. A mid week linen change can be arranged as an optional extra. Guests should bring their own beach towels.

Car Hire : Although not essential, car hire is inexpensive and readily available from the airport or resort. Taxi charges are inexpensive and freely available from the airport, approximately 30 euros (£20)

Other Activities: A full 18 hole course can be found at Costa Teguise some 40 minutes drive from the house

This property really is a hidden gem.
It arguably enjoys the best position within the complex. It is maintained and equipped to a very high standard whilst the owners readily respond to reasonable requests.
Having just returned from a months stay – the third time in three years - I highly recommend Casa Katrina.

Hi Christine & Michael

Arrived home yesterday from a wonderful holiday at Casa Katrina. The house had everything required for the perfect holiday and was immaculately presented. Not always easy keeping a family of five happy, including 2 teenagers, but the extra room available in a house compared to a hotel room is invaluable. The pool and pool area were also spotless and cleaned on a daily basis. House in a perfect position to see the local area and we had wonderful walks with stunning views to the Marina Rubicon and further to Playa Blanca town.

Playa Blanca and surrounding area including the Marina Rubicon are very nice with a good selection of restaurants, however restaurants in the Marina are a little expensive because of the poor exchange rate with the Euro at moment. Tipico Canario and Jumbo Chinease (next to each other) on the seafront in Playa Blanca old town were our family favourites.

Well worth hiring a car to go to Papagaya beaches and Timafaya national park (vulcano's) Also had a good day out in Puerto Carmen.

Many thanks again for a wonderful holiday, the house, pool and surrounding area exceeded all expectations. We would recommend this to anyone planning a trip to Lanzarote.

Perfect place for a holiday.

We recently spent a wonderful week with friends at your lovely house. The house, pool and surroundings are spotlessly clean, and the house is well equipped with everything one could need. The view of the sea and the island of Fuerteventura from the house, are an added bonus. We enjoyed many walks along the front to sample the bars and excellent restaurants. The house is perfectly situated, as it is only a short distance from the beautiful Papagayo beaches and the marina. We will certainly recommend this house to our family and friends.

An excellent holiday, just not long enough.

We have recently spent a week at this lovely property and thoroughly enjoyed it. The house is fantastic and fully equiped to suit anyones needs. We loved the coastal walk to the marina, where there are plently of bars and restaurants only 5 minutes walk away. Or for more of a stroll, it was also a lovely walk along the coastline to playa blanca centre, where there are a wide range of restaurants and bars.
The pool and around the pool area was spotless, and a nice place to lye after a walk.
The beaches at papagayo are fantastic and did not get overly busy, so perfect for a relaxing afternoon in the sun.
We would recommend this holiday for any age group, who would enjoy a quiet and relaxing holiday. We are both in our 20's and would definately go back. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday. Thanks Chris and Mike
