Villa Del Sol has a private ELECTRICALLY heated pool with a SPA system built in to the Roman steps; to give you a relaxing massage, whilst having, your favourite drink. To ensure your privacy we have built a beautiful Piedra wall from volcanic lava all around the garden, so you are completely private for swimming or sunbathing. As an additional extra ALL THE BEDROOMS HAVE PAY AS YOU GO AIR-CONDITIONING, HEATING, DEHUMIDIFYING, AIR FILTERING UNITS for perfect sleeping conditions irrespective of the weather, Ceiling fans are included in the basic villa price. From the upper terrace you have magnificent sea views. The property has private car parking for at least 3 cars. To keep the traditional feel of a Spanish holiday we have designed a BBQ built in the old tradition on the terrace, with a preparation area to the side, including a sink. On the lower terrace by the pool you also have a TANNING HAMMOCK. The property has Satellite TV, and DVD (DVD's NOT SUPPLIED)

Villa Del Sol is on the private residential area of Montana Roja (Red Volcano) in Playa Blanca, which is overlooked by the stunning extinct Red Mountain Volcano, and has fabulous views of Fuerteventura. It is ideally placed, in that everything is walking distance, shops, restaurants, bars, beaches, harbour, and the town centre, and yet it is in a quiet location. A great place to relax for couples and families, especially for those not wishing to hire a car. It is approximately a 15-minute walk to the Harbour where you can catch the frequent ferry to Fuerteventura, which is approximately 1hr crossing time. A further 10-minute walk along this promenade, which has a wonderful display of Canarian shops restaurants and bars, you arrive in the old centre of Playa Blanca. The world famous beaches of Papagayo are only a 15-minute drive from your villa

Additional information about rental rates

  • Rates shown are for 2 persons: Please add £85.00 per person per week extra up to a maximum of 6 in total.
    The pool is solar heated all year, and during the summer months, this will be sufficient for both swimming and using the SPA facilities in the pool included in the prices shown. However during what can be the cooler months? November to end March, we would recommend the electric heating system is switched on, especially with the spa, to guarantee 27/28C at all times if this is requested then there is an additional charge £100 week for this dual system. It is possible to use this additional system all year, if required. A deposit of £200 per week (non-refundable) is payable on confirmation of booking. The balance is to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival. Children under 2 are our guests, so there is no charge. As a condition of booking we will require a copy of your holiday insurance. This can be faxed or emailed.
  • Bookings are normally from Thursday 3.00 PM to Thursday 10.00 am. Other transit days will be considered based on availability, please ask. Early arrivals are not a problem, please tell us what your times are, and we will do our best to accommodate you whilst the villa is being prepared. Up till 10.00am thought is still the previous guest’s holiday
  • A welcome pack: - consisting, of tea, water, sugar, coffee, milk, biscuits, wine/cava is included in the above prices. We are happy to provide additional food for your holiday, please let us have your list, and you can pay us for this on your arrival
    High chairs, cots and child seats are available for hire at 20 Euros a week, per item. CAR HIRE is available please ask for details. Please note - for 10 day holidays, extra towels will be provided at the beginning of your holiday, but no mid term clean or linen change will be provided, unless specifically requested and paid for separately, in which case please let us know how we can best assist you.

Notes: On the lower terrace by the pool you also have a TANNING HAMMOCK, which allows the user to sit or lay in the sun all day without creams, and yet, get a wonderful tan. This works by filtering out the UVB rays that cause burning, but allows the UVA thru to commence tanning. It’s perfect for all skin types. The upper terrace has an attractive fence with GATES which is excellent for parents with young children, to stop them wandering unsupervised to the swimming pool.Inside the villa we have designed it to cater for as wide a consideration of all ages as possible, and is furnished with a mixture of traditional and modern, to give a really luxurious feel, both in English and Spanish furniture.The en-suite master bedroom with its king sized bed has patio doors leading directly on to the sun terrace. The villa has a superbly designed and well equipped modern kitchen with a private Solana for drying your clothes.Clean linen and towels are provided each week. BEACH TOWELS are not provided.

Playa Blanca: Playa Blanca is in the southern most part of Lanzarote. In 1994 it was officially declared a Reserve of the BIOSPHERE by UNESCO and more recently was named by the World Health Organisation as the 2nd healthiest place to live in the world. The promenade walk (approximately 4km long) extends from Los Coloradas via the Marina Rubicon to Dorada Beach (Golden Beach) to the centre, (which hosts the smallest of the 3 main beaches) onto the harbour, and finally to Flamingo Beach/ Lagoon and the luxurious Hotel Timanfaya, to the West of the village. Along here are many exciting shops, restaurants and bars that offer a wonderful selection of Canarian merchandise and food - particularly seafood.
