The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Large patio doors from the living room and from the master bedroom both lead out onto the large patio and heated swimming pool area with a private walled garden. A fantastic outside dining area (brai) with seating for 6 people a great way to enjoy an evening meal with a chilled bottle of wine. Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has recently been called the St Tropez of the Canary Islands with the best beaches, restaurants and bars on the island. From Playa Blanca's seafront you can see Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry. Ferries cross to the island several times a day from the harbour. Most of the bars and restaurants are situated on the sea front and offer outstanding views. Playa blanca has a very relaxed atmosphere but also offers something for everyone.

Just what the doctor ordered!

We have just returned from a week at Villa Casa Maria and what a fabulous week it was. The villa is very comfortable and equipped with all your home comforts - washing machine, dishwasher, dvd player & movies, ps2, satellite tv, hairdryer, iron, hoover! There is plenty of reading materials, games for the kids and inflatables for use in the heated pool. It is situated on a quiet residential development with a communal pool, not too far from Playa Blanca. The views from the villa are lovely, the lights on a night of Fuerteventura and to see the sunrise by Montana Roja is breathtaking. There's bars and supermarkets within easy reach. For those not renting a car there's a bus which runs from the main road into the centre. I would recommend a car though as driving is a piece of cake and Lanzarote has so many amazing things to see which needn't involve lining tour operators pockets. The other plus of this accommodation is Tracy who looks after the villa, she is extremely friendly and helpful. To have someone with knowledge of the area is a real bonus. Another nice surprise was the welcome pack which we had no idea about, to arrive after a long journey and to have the basics there for us was a godsend. Paul, the owner, is extremely helpful, responds to any queries and I feel would go the extra mile to help where he could. All in all, if you're thinking of booking this villa then just do it, I promise you won't be disappointed.

Superb Villa

Just returned from a wonderful 2 weeks. The villa is lovely, with everything you could hope for. The area is quiet and relaxing with stunning views of Montana Roja and Fuerteventura.
A car is needed to get to the harbour and main area of Playa Blanca.
Would definately return in the future. If you are thinking of booking, then go ahead, you wont be disappointed!!

Brilliant villa, resort was nice and quite, well equipped villa with plenty of all the normal household items. More importantly, we found Paul helpful and pleasant to deal with, kept his promises and communication was easy and simple. We will book again

The Villa was excellent for our family needs. Parents, grandparents and one child.
It was clean and the layout was very good. The only slight dissadvantage was that it was it bit far out from the main part of town. We planned to have a car for just one week but when we realised how far out we were we had the ncar for the duration of the holiday. The pool was excellent for our granddaughter (only 2.1/2) she was in it nearly every day. Towels /bedding were changed regularly, but there was no cleaning service between weeks.
I would recommend the villa if someone wanted a getaway from it all holiday. The weather was good , just the right temperature warm but not too hot. Overall it was a good holiday enjoyed by all.

Home from Home!!

Having just returned from a lovely week staying in Casa Maria I felt the need to give future guests a little in-sight as to what to expect!!!..The villa is very well equipped having everything you require. The main bedroom is beautiful as you step out of bed..open the french door's and step out onto the patio and take a dip in the pool!!!! The villa was very clean and Tracey (very friendly fellow Northern lass!!)called by to check all was ok and she only lives minutes away if anything is required!!! The area is very peacefull and the views of Fuerteventura are lovely. We were very lucky to have fantastic wheather for the time of year, which was helped by the Calima..so the pool was used everyday and was so nice to have it 'right there' and not have to share it!!! There are many books, games,dvd's (and now) cd's so there is no need to have to pack them.. I would recommend Casa Maria to anyone looking for a great away from it all holiday to help re-charge the batteries!!
