A delightful modern villa in a raised corner position overlooking the immaculate gardens of Las Coloradas,it has a fantastic mountain view & is only minutes from bars,a supermarket, restaurants & the gorgeous beaches of Papagayo. The lounge is spacious with reclining leather sofas,a 32' LCD TV+Sky+DVD/Video+HIFI with MP3 plug in, films,books,games,and WIFI..leading through to the kitchen complete with dishwasher, w.machine etc. Two sets of patio doors lead out onto a large terrace with a private and enclosed pretty garden,shaded eating area with built in BBQ, sunken sunbathing area with sunbeds & an attractively mosaic tiled pool with easy access steps plus solar+electric heating,surrounded by decking which is cool underfoot. There is another lounge outside with a comfy wicker suite..perfect for cooler weather & evenings to relax in with a glass of wine watching the sunset!..With over 50% of our 2010 bookings as repeat guests you can be sure this will be your perfect holiday home!!

The villa is located in the exclusive area of Las Coloradas in the sunny south of Lanzarote, it is surrounded by many residential complexes alongside 4 & 5 star hotels, you are welcome to stroll around the hotels & in some you may use the bars, restaurants & facilities.Just a few mins walk away there is a gym and fabulous 5* spa, a couple of great restaurants,a supermarket,a terrace bar with delicious home-made ice creams, a sports bar,a kiddies play park. Behind the villa & only an 8min walk you can explore the fantastic natural white beach coves of Payagayo, they are great for snorkelling & are known to be the finest in the Canaries, or you can try the Playa Dorada beach which is about 2min drive away & here you will find a lovely bay with sun beds,umbrellas,restaurants,shops & watersports for the more energetic. A 20min stroll along the seafront promenade takes you to the new Marina, here there are many restaurants & shops all on the waterfront & activities such as sailing & diving.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Rates shown are for the villa, per week, for up to 4 people, plus free cot and high chair and buggy if required..children under 2 at the time of travelling stay free!!
  • An electric pool heat pump is now available to maintain the pool at a lovely swimming temperature of approx 27/28 Celsius (80-82Farenheit), the solar heating is great for the summer months but the heat pump is highly recommended during the months of October through to March/April when there are less hours of sun in the day to warm the solar panels..if you would like to make use of this facility an additional charge of 40 pounds per week will be made, otherwise the solar will run as normal.
    A non-refundable deposit of £100/per week is required to secure the booking.
  • Bookings are mainly from THURSDAY 3pm to THURSDAY 10am.
    Clean linen and towels are provided each week with a villa clean....plus a towel change midweek.
    Pool towels are provided and a welcome pack or tea, cofee, milk etc will be waiting in the villa on arrival
    A 24/7 call out service is available for you in case of emergencies!
    WIFI for hire at €25/wk but is 'subject to availability' so please ask on enquiry if this is of interest to you!!!!

Notes: A travel cot with mattress and linen provided and a high chair is available for use in the villa--FREE OF CHARGE--and there is also now a 3 wheel buggy available-thanks to a kind donation from one of our guests!! There is an clothes airier, an iron and ironing board and a safe in the villa and there is also a hair-dryer (one with a diffuser!) in each bedroom and Remington ceramic hair straighteners. There is a DVD Player and PlayStation1 in the 2nd bedroom with a LCD TV and games. All windows and doors have shutters for extra security and there are mosquito nets (not that we get many, but just in case!!) on both of the bedroom windows, so that you can keep the windows open all day and night to let the cool breeze blow in. Wireless internet access (WIFI) priced at only €25 per week...subject to availability...please ask on enquiry for more details.

PLAYA BLANCA: The main village of Playa Blanca which was originally a small fishing village now offers a very good selection of shops, pharmacies, cafes, bars and restaurants, and is only a 5 min drive from the villa. There is also the old harbour in the centre where you can enjoy some tapas and a drink with the locals or hop on the ferry and visit the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura in less than 20 minutes. Playa Blanca is ideal for those looking for a quieter relaxing kind of holiday!!!

LANZAROTE.: Lanzarote is a truly wonderful island, offering everything from gorgeous natural white beaches to black volcanic landscapes, you can experience the heat from the earth in the Fire Mountains or the coolness of the underground lakes and caves. There are many places to visit all over the island and Playa Blanca is only a 50 min drive from the islands only Golf Course, there is also an Aquapark and a large Sunday market in the old capital of Teguise. There is a map in the villa and many brochures and information about all of the sites and attractions Lanzarote has to offer.

CAR HIRE.: It is not essential to hire a car with this villa due to the location of the beaches, bars and restaurants close by, however it is highly recommended to give you the chance to explore this wonderful island and we can personally organize this for you, anything from a compact 3 door to a luxury convertible. The car can be arranged for you to pick up directly from the airport on your arrival, you simply quote a reservation number at the desk in the airport while you are waiting for your luggage-collect your keys-then go straight through and collect your car-couldn't be easier! This method is tried and tested by all of our clients, please ask for more information.

Other Activities: There is a gym and kiddies play park close by, a pitch and putt 5 min drive away and a ten pin bowling alley 3 mins drive away.

*Loved the villa from the moment we stepped inside..our high expectations were totally met, the outside space is fantastic and the heated pool amazing..the sunken sunbathing area was definitely a bonus in windy weather!!Car hire recommended to get out and about and for those with children Rancho Texas is excellent...Oue thanks to Debs for making it so easy to travel with a 10 month old daughter-the travel cot and high chair were great...We will recommend you to friends and family and hope to be back again for another lovely holiday--Jo,Shaun & Jess April 2007

Looks good in the photos and even better when you get there. Can't think of anything else you would need (although a hot tub would be fab!!). In an excellent quiet location but supermarkets, beaches & Playa Blanca are easily accessible. Pool is superb. We have booked for next year so says it all!

Lanzarote, Playa Blanca and this villa was exactly what we were looking for – a lazy week of early summer sun in a great villa with our own pool. The fact that there were so many great restaurants in the area was an added bonus – although in true Brit style we did BBQ on a couple of nights.

The walk along the coastal path to the Marina Rubicon is lovely (and can be done in high heels!) and knowing that you have a huge choice of places to eat at the end of your stroll makes getting there even more enjoyable.

Practical tips for other travellers...it takes 20 minutes to walk to the Marina, or 3€ to get a taxi there and 5€ to get a taxi into the village of Playa Blanca. If you decide to get the bus into Playa Blanca, get off at the Bus station as this stop is nearest to the centre of the resort and all amenities (we used trial and error and did not get off here and ended up doing a full circuit of the locality…..)

Finally Thanks to Debs for the arrival gift waiting for us in the fridge...it was well received by us weary travellers.

Had a fantastic holiday here. The villa is wonderful, quiet and private but close to bars and restaurants.
All the beaches are worth a visit, we did Papagayo, Dorada, Blanca and Flamingo being our favourite!!
The walk along the promenade is very beautiful, we've walked much of it, and would recommend a walk on an evening to the Marina Rubicon.
All the restaurants we've been to have been excellent, with "Arte+Pasta" at Rubicon our favourite!
Thanks very much for a lovely holiday and the use of your lovely villa and the nice warm pool...which is a great place to come back to after a day at the beach!!

Having read previous reviews and looking at the photos, we were hoping for a lovely villa and we were not at all let down! In fact even more impressed! The villa is spotless and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday - away from it all. Great location and the pool and gardens were superb! A short stroll to the lovely Marina, where there are lots of lovely restaurants.
Debs has thought of everything! It was an ideal first holiday abroad for our little girl! We will definitely be looking to book again very soon!!! Excellent!! Thanks Debs
