The villa is exceptionally well equipped and offers all the 'comforts of home' and much more. It lies on the slopes of Montana Roja and is only a 15 min walk from the beaches/village of Playa Blanca. Distinctive features include - Total privacy in relation to the large attractive garden, pool/ terrace areas which are surrounded by high volcanic walls, creating a tranquil oasis which is both safe and quiet for adults and children alike. Large heated salt chlorinated swimming pool (8x4m)with Roman steps for easy access. Extremely spacious accommodation throughout - Self contained open plan kitchen/ dining area leading out to a large separate terrace with BBQ ideal for al fresco eating - All rooms are on one level and have patio doors taking you out onto the terrace areas - Stunning mountain views from the terraces.

Playa Blanca is the southernmost resort on the island and subsequently benefits from the maximum sunshine available. The Villa is located on a quiet development and yet is only 15 min walk to the nearest beach - Playa Flamingo and the centre of Playa Blanca with its shops, restaurants, cafes and harbour -where you can take the ferry to Fuerteventura/Los Lobos. From Playa Blanca you can walk along the beautiful seafront promenade which leads you to the new International Marina Rubicon with its selection of stylish and fashionable waterfront shops, restaurants and cafes. Situated at the end of the promenade are the famous natural white beaches of Papagayo known to be the finest in the Canary Islands. There are 7 coves in total which are great for snorkelling. Playa Blanca as a resort has a relaxed atmosphere and is ideal for those seeking a quiet and restful break. Lanzarote is a beautiful island offering many attractions eg. Timanfaya National Park. Additional information about rental rates

  • LATE SHORT BREAK OFFER - Tuesday 19 January - Saturday 23 January £295 (2 people) to include electric pool heating normaly £312.
    Prices are based on 2 people sharing additional occupancy is £35 per person per week.
    Maximum 4/5 adults sharing and 1 child of cot age. (i.e. maximum 5 including child of cot age).
    The swimming pool has solar heating which is constant throughout the year. During November- March electric heating is available to keep the pool temperature at 27/28 degrees Celsius/85 degrees Fahrenheit.
    If you require electric heating, there will be an additional charge of £50 per week, November - March.
    Please enquire for preferential rates for stays longer than 2 weeks outside the peak times (July -September).
    A £100 per week deposit is required (i.e. £200 for a 2 week stay) on booking and full payment is required 8 weeks prior to departure. In addition a separate refundable breakages/call out deposit of £200 is required - CHEQUE NOT BANKED.
  • We provide a small starter pack FREE of charge which includes a bottle of water, a carton of orange juice, a carton of milk, some tea bags and coffee sachets and sugar.
    If you would prefer to have a more substantial welcome pack we can provide this for an extra charge of £10.

    We also provide a cot and high chair FREE of charge.

    All linen is provided INCLUDING BEACH TOWELS for use around the pool. Linen is changed weekly (excluding 10 day stays) as are towels. If you are staying for 2 weeks a MID TERM CLEAN is provided in the package.
  • Please note that the Villa has a No Smoking Policy, however, there are large external patio/terrace areas available for this purpose.

    Discounts are available for stays of longer than 2 weeks outside the peak periods.

Notes: The Villa is furnished and equipped to a high standard. It has the benefit of a satellite system with DVD and video player, stereo and hi-fi and a selection of CD's, DVD's, books and board games. The Villa is spacious and benefits from separate living/dining and sleeping areas. A particular feature being its large external terraces offering both sun and shade. Our normal changeover day is Thursday particularly over the summer holiday period (July/August) - outside of this period wherever possible we will try to be flexible. All linen is provided i.e. sheets and towels, INCLUDING beach towels for use around the pool. The Villa sleeps a maximum of 5 people i.e. 2 twin bedded rooms plus a put-u-up in the lounge or a cot. A cot and high chair are available - FREE OF CHARGE - however please bring your own cot linen. Comfortable sun loungers are provided in the fully walled garden which is very private, making it ideal for children and adults looking for privacy and peace and quiet.

What a fantastic place, Villa is superb has everything you could ever wish for. Pool and gardens are completely private with fantastic mountain views. The layout of the development has been well thought out, do not hear any noise at all from the neighbours, tranquility at it's best.Short walking distance to nearest supermarket which stocks more or less everything. Marina Rubicon is a must, great market, restaurants, shops and views. Would highly recommend this villa for all types of holiday. Will definately be back. The whole booking process was so straight forward and easy.

Playa Blanca is an ideal resort for families with lots of restaurants along the promenade. Town centre is about 30 minutes walk from the villa and the nearest beach 20 minutes walk.

The villa was everything we expected and more from the website description / photographs. The privacy was fantastic and our two small kids loved the pool. Having the TV/DVD and games was an added bonus for them.

I would gladly recommend Villa Alicia as a holiday destination.

My family really enjoyed staying at Villa Alicia in Playa Blanca. The Villa was spacious, modern and very well maintained. The Villas Blancas area is very quiet and the villa is private and not overlooked, the pool was great.

We hired a car to get to and from the airport and around the island and found driving easy with the roads very quiet.

There is a small supermarket close to the villa but we found this to be faily limited and quite expensive, although it had all the essentials. We tended to drive to the Spar near the main Harbour area to pick up supplies. The villa was a good 20 minutes walk to the Harbour area where all the resaurants and shops begin (too far for very small children or those that dont enjoy a walk) but a taxi rank and bus stop is just 2 minutes walk away from the villa or its a very easy 2 minute drive in the car. Playa Blanca is a very relaxed and family oriented resort which we liked and we loved Lanzarote and its pleasent climate, we hope to return.

Wonderful week our 6 year old daughter loved the pool area and it was easy for us to relax.
The villa was very well equiped and a very comfortable place to come back to after a day out.

We would highly recommend to those who want to get away to peace and great weather

A Week by the Pool

We stayed at Villa Alicia at the end of April 2009. The villa was perfrect for us - we had a very lazy week lying by the pool! The size of the villa was fantastic, plenty space to cook in and sit around in the evenings. Playa Blanca wan't far away so was easy to go into town for shopping and eating out - 5 mins in the car. We've been to Lanzarote before, staying in self catering apartments but after having stayed at Villa Alicia we wouldn't go back to apartments. We would thoroughly recommend this villa for a holiday and we definitely hope to go back. If you are looking for somewhere peaceful to chill out and relax this is the villa for you.
