Casas Del Sol is a development of villas set in beautiful mature gardens opposite the harbour in Playa Blanca. The complex is mainly traffic free having a car park at the entrance but allowing access to the villas for luggage drop off & pick up. Part of the complex is on the flat & part is on a gentle incline which provides some of the properties with good views. A solar heated swimming pool & children’s pool form the centre of this development with sun beds & shade by the pool. This is a lovely property in a very convenient location on the complex as it is at the beginning of the incline with beautiful mature gardens in front & to the side of it. From the patio & the lounge there are wonderful sea views. The villa has recently been extensively refurbished in a contemporary style with attention to detail. Comfort is a priority both inside & out, inside having quality leather sofas & outside having durable cushions on the chairs & loungers. Ideal for families or couples.

Playa Blanca is a stunning resort ideal for families & couples. 3 glorious golden sandy beaches are within easy reach and also the unspoilt Papagayo beaches only about 15 minutes drive away. The Dorada beach has water sports & the Dorada & Flamingo beaches have parasols & sun lounger’s. The harbour has a regular ferry service to Fuertaventura & also various boat trips and the new Marina Rubicon is a haven for boat lovers, shoppers and diners. The village centre has a good selection of shops, bars, & restaurants also there are several hotels with evening entertainment. Markets are held 2x weekly selling local handicrafts amongst other things. A lovely coastal walk can be taken along the stretch of the promenade with frequent stop offs for drinks or lunch in the pavement cafes. Cycles may also be hired locally & there is a diving school.

This is the second time we have stayed on this complex. Villa 33A was excellent, the facilities of the villa are good, the maintenance is excellent and our daughter loves the pool. Playa Blanca is a really nice resort with plenty of good restaurants and some nices beaches too. We will return again!

Casas del Sol is perfectly located to explore the area of Playa Blanca and no car is required. Restaurants, bars and shops are all a short walk away. The area is more suited to families or older couples seeking a quieter peaceful holiday. This property is well equiped, clean and has modern comfortable furnishings. We have been holidaying in Lanzarote for 15 years this complex being our favourite and have lost count of the number of times we have returned. This was our first stay in this particular villa but I am sure we will return again and have already recommended it to friends. The owners were very helpful with our booking and were quick to reply to our enquiries.

Have been visiting Casas del Sol for 27 years now, and have seen so many changes, mostly for the better. Casas del Sol is a lovely complex which seems to attract many repeat visitdors, so it is just like going home. We have stayed at 33A for quite a few years now, and it is ideal for what we want. It is extremely peaceful, with good views. The villa has everything that is needed, although we eat out all the time, and sit inside very seldom. Reception is very friendly and efficient, as is the maid service. Can't comment on night life, becauke after an evening meal we go to bed. Sleep very wellbecause of the sea air. Restaurants all very good, although you get to know your favourites. Prices still the same, it is just the exchange rate that makes things more expensive.
Would thoroughly recommend this villa. Jennifer
