VILLA VERANO is located in a prime position on the private residential area of Montana Roja in Playa Blanca. Outside the villa has a large south-facing, covered columned terrace plus sun terrace and gardens, with partial views of the sea, the island of Fuerteventura, and to the rear the extinct Montana Roja and Papagayo Mountains. The terrace has a large private pool plus 6 sun beds, a large table with 8chairs and a built-in barbecue. The private driveway can accommodate four cars. The beautifully furnished lounge/dining room leads off the terrace. VERANO offers - Sat TV/Radio, DVD, Video & CD players (film & book library included). The dining table seats 8 people with three 3-seater sofas. For your peace of mind - a secure locking safe is provided in the bedroom. The designer kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven, hob, microwave & washing machine. Verano is professionally managed with a 24/7 Support Service. Freshly laundered towels & linen are provided.

Villa Verano is a large 4 bedroom villa and is ideal for two families sharing, the villa was completed and furnished Easter 2004 and is in an area of private villas. The villa is in the village of Playa Blanca on the southern tip of Lanzarote. Playa Blanca was originally a small fishing village, which is being turned into a holiday resort. The village consists mainly of villas, although there are now several hotels as well. There is a small supermarket within a five minute walk which bakes fresh bread in the mornings and there are several larger supermarkets about a ten minute walk away selling a wide selection of foods and other goods, plus a variety of other shops. There are many good restaurants. Although the village has grown considerably the resort is still relatively quiet but if you require nightlife and the usual large resort attractions, these are available in Puerto Del Carmen, which is approximately thirty minutes drive from Playa Blanca.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Rental Rates are based on occupancy of 2 people. A further charge of £50 per person per week will apply for each additional person (up to a maximum of eight people), children under the age of 2 on the date of travel stay as guests of Lanzarote Villas.
    Bookings are normally from Thursday. Arrival - 4pm to Thursday. Departure - 10am. Other arrival/departure dates may be possible subject to availability - PLEASE CALL.
    The swimming pool is solar heated all year round. But during the winter months the temperature can drop below 20c. To enable a temperature of 24/26c to be maintained we have an electric heat pump. *This is available at an additional cost of £50 per week.
    Booking Conditions: Please confirm your booking by fax, e-mail or letter plus a copy of your holiday insurance.
    A deposit of £200 per week is payable on confirmation of your booking. The balance is payable 8 weeks before departure.
  • We will accept payment in British pounds or Euros

    Discounts are available for last minute bookings, if your departure is within 2 weeks and we have availability - PLEASE CALL.
    Rates can be subject to change - existing bookings will be honoured at pre-increased prices.
    DISCOUNT FLIGHTS are available from all UK airports.
    CAR HIRE is available at Villa Verano special rates, We can pre-book the car of your choice for collection and return to the airport. Payment is made in full on your arrival at the airport (In Euros or by credit card). Please remember your driving license.
    As in many area of Lanzarote, including Playa Blanca, Montana Roja is a new and developing area and there may be signs of building activity in other roads, all the villas around Villa Verano are completed and as such this should not affect your stay at the villa.

Notes: Smoking: the majority of our guests are requesting non-smoking villa. We would ask any guest who wishes to smoke to do so outside under the large covered terrace (we have provided ashtrays for this purpose). Villa Verano provides all the bed linen and towels for the villa (the bed linen is changed weekly and the towels twice weekly), we do not provide linen for the cot in case of allergies, please ensure you bring your own towels for the beach and around the pool. The villa and terraces are thoroughly cleaned before your arrival, the villa is cleaned weekly. The swimming pool is professionally maintained and cleaned twice weekly. The villa has been designed to give wheelchair/pram access throughout. A welcome pack comprising of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bottled water, dish cloth, toilet rolls and a couple of dishwasher tablets is provided with complements of Villa Verano. Please note at least two people booking and staying at Villa Verano must be over 25.

Lanzarote: The island of Lanzarote is volcanic and much of it consists of the so-called “lunar landscape” with huge lava flows and a very stark appearance. A few of the beaches consist of black volcanic sand; however the majority are fine golden sand. There are three white sand beaches in Playa Blanca, one of these (Playa Flamingo) is a ten minute walk from the villa. There are several more extremely good white sand beaches at Papagayo about 7 km from Playa Blanca. There is a small entrance charge to go to these beaches as they are part of the National Park. A new marina was completed in 2004 between Playa Blanca and Papagayo with a range of designer shops and restaurants. There are also plans to build at least two golf courses on the outskirts of Playa Blanca, the ground works for the first one have already commenced. One of the main attractions of Lanzarote as previously stated is the excellent weather, the island receives very little rain fall (Maximum 35 days per year).

Great holiday at Villa Verano

I just wanted to drop you a note to thank you very much for a very enjoyable holiday in your Villa Verona in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote.

My husband, son and I had a wonderful time there. The villa was fantastic – it had great accommodation, was clean, well maintained and had all the mod-cons we could need! (Dishwasher especially helpful!!) I can’t actually think of anything that was missing!

We had wonderful weather when we were there and really enjoyed the private pool. It was a real treat to have a pool all to ourselves!

We wish you and your family all the best and will definitely be in touch again when we look to return back to Lanzarote.
