Located in Playa Blanca, specifically in the beautiful area of Los Claveles - Casa Hawkeshead is ideally located, only being 5 minutes’ walk to the nearest supermarket and restaurant. The nearest beach is only a 20 minute walk or there is a taxi rank 5 minutes down the road. Taxis are relatively cheap and plentiful.
Travelling to Lanzarote is easily done. There are main airlines that have routes to Lanzarote airport - Arrecife (ACE). Such as www.flythomascook.co.uk or www.thomsonfly.co.uk or www.firstchoice.co.uk and many more. The flight normally takes no more than 4 hours.
WHERE TO EAT...Locally in Playa Blanca there are many good restaurants to choose from, those along the sea front are great for their ambiance, but when asked to recommend there are 3 which remain consistently good and are all family owned and run

AIRPORT TRANSFERS...Available both SHARED or EXCLUSIVE we can arrange this at very reasonable rates for our guests, please ask for a price list
CAR HIRE... We can arrange to have a vehicle of your choice awaiting your arrival at the Airport in Lanzarote along with the company representative, or if you prefer have it delivered to your villa at a time of your choosing.
They will also collect from the villa or should you choose you can drive it back to the airport yourselves.
The permutations are entirely yours.

Playa Blanca is in the southernmost part of Lanzarote. In 1994 it was officially declared a Reserve of the BIOSPHERE by UNESCO and more recently was named by the World Health Organisation as the 2nd healthiest place to live in the world.
The promenade walk (approximately 4km long) extends from Los Coloradas via the Marina Rubicon to Dorada Beach (Golden Beach) to the centre, (which hosts the smallest of the 3 main beaches) onto the harbour, and finally to Flamingo Beach/ Lagoon and the luxurious Hotel Timanfaya, to the West of the village
Along here are many exciting shops, restaurants and bars that offer a wonderful selection of Canarian merchandise and food - particularly seafood.
