Lanzarote:
The Canary Islands, once known as the Fortunate Islands, are made up of seven major (inhabited) isles. Lanzarote is the most easterly, lying in the Atlantic Ocean just 125km from the coast of Africa. It's landscape is one of volcanoes and scattered lava fields edged by beautiful beaches and pretty villages. Below ground level are caverns, grottoes and craters. Much effort has been put into preserving its historical and artistic heritage; its monuments and characteristic houses, local festivals and customs (no high-rise hotels here!) Lanzarote hosts the best weather, with the driest climate and most sun.
Playa Blanca:
Playa Blanca is a picturesque and tranquil holiday village, with unsurpassed coastal views of the islands of Lobos and Fuerteventura on its horizon. It is ideally suited to families and couples alike, as traditional Spanish restaurants, trattorias and tapas bars are the only entertainment in this resort. Numerous eateries line the pretty harbour. The promenade, which starts to the west (near the lighthouse on Punta de Pechiguera) and twists along the edge of the sea, passing its many beaches, until it reaches the famous, natural Papagayo beaches to the east is approximately a two hour leisurely walk.
Fishermen line the harbour and pier in the mornings, discussing the possibility of the days catch, and tranquility and relaxation are definitley the order of the day.
This is why people return to holiday in Playa Blanca year after year.
Casa Jasmine:
Casa Jasmine is a brand new villa, finished to the highest standards. Teak patio doors lead onto the large terracotta sun terrace & shaded dining area. The bedrooms are airy and each has its own bath/shower room with marble tiled walls. Apart from some antique furniture, all furnishings & fittings are brand new and fresh.
Our villa is superbly located, just a stones throw from the large tiled communal swimming pool and gardens. A few minutes walk leads you to the spectacular rugged coastline, where you can sit and watch the sunset over crystal waters or explore the rock pools and caverns.
An Italian restaurant, bar, patisserie and food store within a few minutes walk from our doorstep; with the main restaurants, supermarkets and sandy Flamingo, Dorado and harbour beaches situated around the centre of Playa Blanca, just 5 minutes by car. Hourly bus service into PB.
