Photos and Description of this Puerto del Carmen holiday villa Three bedrooms (double and two twins) sleeping six and two full bathrooms.

Casa Los Valles: situated just outside the old town of Puerto del Carmen on the borders of the elite Los Majones area. Sea views from the patio. Rural fields are 3-4 minutes walk away. Yet the villa is easy walking distance of the beaches, shops, bars and restaurants. The main promenade is 10 minutes approx walk away. The villa is furnished in Spanish style with a well equipped kitchen including washing machine, microwave and full cooker. Outside is a covered patio overlooking the pool area. The good sized pool, heated in winter months, has a toddler’s area. There is a built in BBQ with a large fixed table and ample sun beds etc. Satellite TV with some English channels, video with tapes, DVD player with DVD's, CD/tape/radio player are installed. For a holiday with everything happening on your doorstep but located in a quiet area, this is the villa for you.

Location: Puerto del Carmen in Canary Islands

Nearest Airport: Arricife at 7 Miles
Car: not necessary
Situated to the south of the airport, Puerto del Carmen is the main resort of Lanzarote. A long stand of sandy beach stretches for a good distance with a promenade carefully landscaped with trees and cacti. Ample seating is provided along the sea front and bars and restaurants are plentiful. Scuba diving, deep sea fishing, jet ski, parasailing and windsurfing are easily found. The villa is situated between the old town and the main beach. In the old town is a small bay ideal for children ( turn left at the old town crossroads and follow the road round ). The picturesque harbour where the fishing boats land their catches and sell their wares is a short walk. Also at the harbour are the finest fish restaurants. Tennis courts, gyms and squash courts can be found a few minutes walk away. Taxis are plentiful and cost 3/4 euros approx to come back up to the villa. A good supermarket with meat counter is at the end of the road sufficient for all your supplies.

Puerto del Carmen:

There is now a fine shopping mall ( the Biosfera ) in the old town. Buses go frequently to Arricife (the capital) and on to Costa Teguise every 20 minutes. More buses go to surrounding areas and to Playa Blanca. The nearest town from Puerto Del Carmen is Tias. A mainly local community. Here you will find good restaurants at reasonable prices. A Taxi costs 5 euros each way.

The villa was exactly as described and the location was good as well.The old town is 5 mins walk and the new town and main beach is 10 mins walk.
It is fairly quiet around about the villa and it is secluded enough to have privacy around the pool,and when sunbathing.
I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to rent a villa,they won't come any better than this and also for a reasonable price.
Dealing with Peter the owner was hassle free and any receipts and villa information were mailed quickly and efficiently.
The people that maintain the villa are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them.
