Tias, Lanzarote:
Casa Con Vista is in the lovely village of Tias. The property is on a large plot of 1000sq metres. It is in a very quiet road and has no properties overlooking. The views are magnificent and from the 2 large windows in the lounge you have sea views. All local shops, bars and restaurants are only a 2 minute drive away. The local people are very friendly and the majority of them speak English!! Car hire is recommended and can be arranged from £75.00 per week.
Lanzarote:
is 60 miles off the North West coast of Africa, the climate is dominated by the northeastern trade winds and the warm Canary stream produces glorious summer temperatures all year round. The average temperature during the winter months is 22oC. There are breathtaking views to the North of the Island to glorious sandy beaches in the South. The island has many places of interest to visit including Timanfaya National Park, which is an amazing phenomenon created by volcanic eruptions over 250 years ago. In the North of the island you will find Cuevas de los verdes (the green caves) which are lava tunnels produced by the volcanic eruptions. They are one of the longest in the world, stretching 7 kms below the sea and visitors can walk 1.5kms down into them.
Puerto Del Carmen:
is situated on the South coast and is the most popular resort area on the island. The resort is only a 10 minute drive from the villa. The resort has many restaurants, bars and shops. Water sports are very popular and the area is well equipped for scuba diving, deep sea fishing, jet skis, wind surfing, parasending and boat hire. There are 2 Go Kart tracks within a 10 minute drive from the villa. The Premier golf course on the island is at Costa Teguise, which is a 15 minute drive. Visitors are very welcome and play all year round on this magnificent golf course. There is now a BRAND NEW GOLF COURSE recently opened between Tias ans Puerto Del Carmen. Non members are welvome all year round.
