‘Villa Ardilla’ is well furnished throughout and is very well equipped with everything needed for a self-catering holiday. The 3 bedrooms are on the ground floor. The master bedroom has a king size bed, ample wardrobe space and an en-suite bathroom. There are 2 further bedrooms, which both contain twin beds. The master bathroom is on this level. The living room is on the upper floor. It is furnished with leather sofas and has patio doors leading to a large balcony with dining. The well-equipped kitchen is divided from the living room by a breakfast bar. For extra convenience there is a third bathroom on this floor. Villa access is through a 6' gate from a pedestrian walk way, makes this ideal for families with smaller children.

  • Prices are for 4 people sharing per week in UK Pounds. Additional person £65-00 per week to a maximum of 6.
    Discounts available for 2 occupants and for longer term rentals. Charges do not apply for infants under 2 years.
    Main changeover day Thursday, can be flexible (Villa available from 2pm). Vacate by 10am on day of departure. Deposit of 20% required on booking with balance payable 6 weeks prior to travel. This deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation by the client.
    Cancellation refunds:
    Up to 6 weeks – no cancellation charge.
    4-6 weeks – 50% of rate refunded.
    2-4 weeks – 25% of rate refunded.
    Less than 2 weeks – no refund.

Notes: The living room is on the upper floor. It is furnished with leather sofas and has patio doors leading to a large balcony. Included is TV with Sky satellite premium channels, Stereo CD/radio. A sunbathing terrace surrounds the attractive, mosaic tiled, 7x3.5m private, heated swimming pool. There is a large dining area with excellent, wooden patio furniture and a built in barbecue, making it a lovely place to enjoy al-fresco dining. The terrace is provided with many comfortable sun-loungers and make it a perfect place for sun worshippers. The covered balcony off the living room has a large dining table and overlooks the swimming pool. Utility Room with Fridge/freezer, sink unit, washing machine, iron and board. Towels and linen are included and changed weekly. Clients should however, supply their own beach towels. Maid service not included but can be arranged. Starter supply of tea,coffee,sugar,milk & water for your arrival.

Swimming pool: The Swimming pool measures approx 7 x 3.5 metres and has an depth of 1.1 to 1.9 metres and is solar heated for your comfort. Please be advised that children should be attended at all times whilst using the swimming pool. In order to help maintain the temperature of the swimming pool, there is a pool cover provided (generally the pool is kept covered at night).

My son and I have just returned from our holiday at Villa Ardilla, I think the title of this review says it all.......the villas is clean, well kept and laid out and is near the shops and restaurants, to be honest apart from days out we didnt need the car.

The pool was wonderful and we used it every day, the small cove at the bottom of the street was great for a game of football and swim in the sea. We know the area well and can honestly say, for us it was in the best part of the resort......and travelling as a single mum the walk back at night was well lit and the villa very secure and safe.

Thank you for a great holiday, already planning to come back next year.

Beautiful Villa

Just returned from a lovely week in Lanzarote made all the more special by staying in the beautiful Villa Ardilla. The location of the villa is perfect as it is only a 5 minute walk to all the local amenities and beach. It is set on a lovely quiet side walk. Very handy for airport but no noise from planes.

The old town and harbour area (about 40 minute walk or a 5 euro taxi ride) are worth a visit as there are a lot of nice restuarants.

The villa layout and facilities are excellent, including the baby cot, highchair and stairgate. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The pool and bbq were used often by our party. The British owners are very helpful. We would definitely recommend the villa to friends and relatives and will be planning a return trip ourselves.

The description of the Villa is accurate, but if anything the photos do not quite do it full justice. We, and our family, have stayed in this Villa twice - for periods of 4 weeks in 2008 & five weeks in 2009. This in itself should speak volumes.
The Villa is extremely well equipped, especially the kitchen, is furnished to a high standard, is very well maintained and is kept very clean.
The location is excellent. The area is residential & quiet with easy parking, although within only a few minutes walk of the sea, restaurants and an unusually good supermarket.
Overall, we found this Villa to want for nothing and we can highly recommend it.

The villa was just as described, spotlessly clean with everything we needed right down to a stair gate for safety for our baby grandson. The owners were extremely helpful with any queries we had, and even provided a camping cot for the baby. We did not want to travel so did not hire a car. Taxis from the airport were cheap (12 euros) and we were glad we didn't book in advance which would have been over double the cost. For the return journey we spoke to the taxis on the promenade and were able to book in advance, and they arrived promptly. The villa was ideally situated in a quiet residential area but within easy walking distance of the shops and restaurants. We can recommend the 'Wild West' which did wonderful steaks and had extremely friendly staff. If you require rolls, baguettes etc, the sandwich shop on the promenade makes them fresh for you and has wonderful cakes. Our holiday was at the end of October, although the weather was apparantly not as good as usual we had a fabulous holiday, and managed to swim every day.

My family and I stayed at the Villa for just under 2 weeks and to be honest we felt like we could have stayed for another 2 weeks. The villa was exactly as detailed in the property description and was in a great location (no hills as expected in Lanzarote). The shops, bars and beach are only a 5 min walk away. The pool was an ideal size and the patio area had plenty of room for our family of 5. We made use of theBBQ area and pool/patio area everyday. The kitchen is well equipped and the living area is spacious. All three bedrooms and bathrooms were of a high standard. The owners in the UK are friendly and very helpful and answered all my questions/queries and their manager in Lanzarote was also very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this property to a friend and in fact my sister was was staying in Lanzarote at the same time and was so amazed by the villa she will be making enquiries to stay at the villa next year. My family and I had one of the best holidays and we looking forward to making a return trip.
