Callao Salvaje is a small village located on the South West coast of Tenerife between the resorts of Playa de Las Americas and Los Gigantes. The apartment is situated in the new quiet residential complex of Arco Iris Playa and is only 200 metres away from the beach. It has excellent views of the sea, the Island of La Gomera and Mount Teide from the upstairs solarium, which has the benefit of the sun all day until sunset, which is a truly magnificent and romantic sight. The complex is a pleasant 5 minute walk from the beach and the resort centre where you will find a bank, variety of shops, bars with entertainment, restaurants, supermarkets, car hire and a local bus service. The resort is well suited for those who prefer a peaceful location with a low key nightlife.

Callao Salvaje is a village style resort, which is located 15 minutes from Las Americas and Los Cristianos and is an ideal base for a perfect relaxing chill out holiday. The Resort has some late bars with a variety of entertainment. For those who wish to venture further a field there is a good local taxi and bus service. The beach is half sand and pebbles with many rocky outcrops and a jetty that is ideal for fishing and snorkeling. Golf courses such as Adeje and Las Americas are only a short ride away. Special attractions such as Aquapark and Parque Las Aguilas are only about 15 minutes from the resort. The well renowned Sunday markets of Los Cristianos and Torviscas (Thurs) are also within easy reach of the resort.

Notes: Apartment is split into 3 levels, on entry there is a separate WC, and separate fully fitted kitchen, with all facilities including microwave oven. Leading from the kitchen is a very spacious living area which has 2 patio style sliding windows with balcony's, seating for 4 people and dining area for 4. There is also a TV, video, DVD player and a small selection of films and games. Down the stairs to the lower level is a fully fitted bathroom with shower. There is also one twin bedroom with wardrobe, safe and large sliding windows, second bedroom has 2 single beds. From the living area a spiral staircase leads up to the solarium with 2 very spacious areas for dining and sunbathing, excellent views of the sea and the Island of La Gomera at the front and mountainous views at the rear. Sun beds, parasol, dining table, chairs are provided. Children under 3 not recommended for safety because of stairs. All bed linen, bath and hand towels provided.

Golfing in Tenerife: If golfing is what you are after then Callao Salvage is ideally situated to enjoy all the golfing amenities on the Island. Tenerife has some of the best courses around including the magnificent course at Adeje and Las Americas which are just 15 minutes away, while the spectacular 27 hole championship course of Golf del Sur is approximately 20 minutes ride away.

A cheap but good quality accomodation .

Very nice apartment. Generally a quiet environment, but there are some barking dogs in neighbouring apartments. Callao Salvaje itself is small with limited night life.
