The apartment itself has been furnished and equipped to a high standard, providing you with all you will need to enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay. The air conditioning means that even in the hottest months you will be able to sleep comfortably. The unusually spacious balcony is ideal for lazing in the sun, while the large sun blind offers shade, keeping the apartment cool as well as providing a space for all your alfresco dining! The views from said balcony are not only to the sea but also up to the magnificent mountains of Tenerife. Altamira is a well established holiday resort which proves popular with people of all ages. The owners of this, plus four other apartments in the area, live locally and are available to smooth any problems that may occur during your stay.

We had an excellent holiday at the Altamira, location was fantastic right on the beach, easy walking to La Caleta one way at right along the front as far as Playa de Americas if you wanted to go that far. We normally walked in the evening to Fanabe district with a large selection of Restaurants and a lovely walk. Would avoid Tony Roma's restaurant but highly recommend the Italian Restaurant situated up the steps behind Burger King food and service brilliant. The apartment was lovely and clean and was home from home. Fiona looked after her well, and the welcome pack was lovely and totally unexpected. Altimira itself is very clean and the pool area excellent, plenty sunbeds in and out of the sun. It was nice in the evening also to sit on the balcony, have a drink and watch all the comings and going. Would highly recommend this apartment.

The apartment was very clean and well apointed. Yes the apartment overlooked a carpark but the carpark is not too busy and it means your balcony gets the sun from sunrise till about 4pm. The apartment has instructions for the appliances which was a bonus but you need a degree to work the dvd player. staff all helpfull aswell. The hotel is a little tired looking but this in no way detracted from an excelent holiday and will be returning again
Owner's Response: So glad you all enjoyed your stay, but so sorry the Dvd player was confusing. I had not realised and will put full and simple intructions for it's operation in the apartment when I go in to clean on Friday. Thanks for bringing this point to my attention.

No problems with this apartment, but we assumed the photo was the view from the balcony, and were dissapointed that the view is not the one shown,but instead it overlooks the hotel carpark. Everything else was fine.
Owner's Response: So sorry you felt that our photos were misleading. We featured a picture of the pool as this is where most people choose to spend their days whilst on holiday, and it is such a beautiful part of the complex. We do state that the views from our balcony are of the sea and mountains, but will add some more photos shortly, to include one of the view. Thank-you for bringing this oversight to our attention.

Lovely spacious clean apartment. Comfortable beds and sofa bed, plenty of storage, washing machine, air conditioning, extra large balcony. Would stay here again!
