Stylish Studio Apartment Altamira.

Having been recently refurbished to a very high standard, this air-conditioned studio will provide the perfect base for your relaxing holiday in the sun. The views of the stunning pool area, out to sea and La Gomera beyond are magnificent. The bath has been replaced by a large, walk-in shower in the beautiful, newly refitted bathroom. The kitchen is compact and includes a two ring hob and microwave/grill/convection oven, so is inappropriate for anyone planning on doing a lot of cooking, but is ample for most peoples' holiday needs. The twin bedded sleeping area is separated from the lounge by a low wall and curtain. The lounge has a leather sofa and leather reclining chair to make viewing of the TV, (offering English channels) and video, really comfortable. The inside dining area offers an alternative to the balcony, where table, chairs, sunblind and sun-beds are provided. The marble floors enhance the feeling of luxury and the ample storage space ensures uncluttered surroundings.

Altamira is one of the very few apartment blocks positioned directly on the sea front. Nestled between the various five star hotels of the acclaimed Costa Adeje region, you will be staying in what is often described as the most up-market area of Tenerife. A lift will take you down to the pool, where a gate opens out onto the promenade. The del Duque beach is ahead of you and you can walk right to the charming fishing village of La Caleta, or left to the exclusive shops and restaurants of the Bahia del Duque area. You are welcome to enjoy the evening entertainment provided within the local hotels, and a handy supermarket is just across the road. Being only a fifteen minute walk into Fañabe, you are close to all the shops and nightlife, yet far enough away to enjoy a tranquil, relaxing holiday.

Quiet and comforatble with beautiful views

This is truly a lovely apartment. It is comfortably big enough for two people, and the view from the balcony is wonderful. I love to sit with a cup of coffee in the morning and watch the pool below (and the pool next door) come alive, and the evening sunsets and view of the sea are beautiful. The apartment is very quiet and convenient.

The immediate area has plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. There is a very nice English pub with excellent food just outside the main door of the resort. If you prefer to go further, you have two choices within a 15 minute walk: turn left when you get to the seaside promenade for the busier Fanabe beaches, shops, pubs and restaurants, or turn right to the quieter town of La Caleta with its fish and tapas restaurants. If you're a runner, turn right for a quiet jog along the sea and then up along the streets of La Caleta, an absoultely beautiful little fishing village complete with small boats anchored in its harbor.

We have been going to Tenerife for 8 years now and we love this area. The apartment is very clean and well maintained and we have recommended it to our friends.
