Very attractive, one bedroom apartment on the popular Orlando complex, with nice sea views. The complex has 3 swimming pools: large main pool, kiddie’s pool and one medium sized pool. The apartment has a large comfortable lounge with TV, Satellite TV with 40 international channels, open plan kitchen area, one large bedroom, and a fitted bathroom with shower. It is very well equipped with new items and is also tastefully decorated. It has a south facing balcony area with sun all afternoon. Kitchen utilities include hob, fridge, microwave, washing machine, kettle, toaster.

Known as an island of eternal spring, Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands and is situated just off the northern coast of Africa. Tenerife is a country offering equally generous portions of art, architecture, beaches and nightlife, excellent cuisines and fantastic wines. For sports enthusiast, it offers a range of sports from golf to wind surfing. The apartment is situated in the Torviscas area of Playa de Las Americas. The area has a 5 mile stretch of beach, most of which is promenade. There are numerous bars and restaurants close by with beautiful mountainous scenery. The water park is only 10 minutes walk and the Sky Park is just 5 minutes walk away. There are excellent restaurants and nightlife and there is also wide range of shopping centres. The nearest airport is Tenerife South (Reina Sofia), which is about 15 minutes by taxi (approx 20 euros). The apartment is maintained to a high standard by an English couple, a 24 hour emergency number is available if needed.

Just back from a 2 week stay at this apartment with 2 of my friends. Plenty of room for 3 of us. We had a fantastic time. Would highly recommend this apartment, although it would not be great if you have walking difficulties. Everything was clean and tidy for us arriving. We even had water left for us, which was much needed. The only downside I would say is that there is not air conditioning (or not that we could see anyways). However there are plenty of doors and windows that can be open to get a through breeze. Very close to beach and amenities. Will use this apartment again.

I love Adeje

Spent a week in adeje last January and fell in love with the place. The Apartment i had booked was very reasonable price wise on paper, when i got there i realised what a bargain it really was, Very clean, great size and everything you will need right down to sat TV. The best thibng was the location if you head out you can almost go in any direction and within mins be at a diffrent resort. Costa Adeje has a great range of bars and resteuants on your doorstep, the water park is five mins walk away and you can walk to las americas in 15 mins. if you walk the other way for 15 you get to another resort. beach is again only mins away. there are a couple of mininmarts and tour operators AGAIN on your doorstep. The apartment complex is mostly private so 9 times out of ten you have the pool to yourself. 10/10

Apartment was well located, clean throughout and peaceful to stay in. The Orlando Complex is a bit tired but there is work going on to improve things. The reputation locally of Orlando being a bit of a dump is completely unfounded. Everywhere was clean, tidy and safe. It was a great location all round. Close to shops, transport and some really nice beaches. Posher Playa Fanabe is literally 10 minutes walk away. I would challenge anyone to find better value for money using one of the big holiday companies.

We do not find the apartment arranged for a stay of three months, there is too little cook equipment, and the mattresses have, however, had enough time their.

In short, it is not what one says price/quality.

Orlando - Block 5, Apt 213

We stayed at Orlando complex in Nov 2008 - me, my husband and 31mth daughter. The apartment was well furnished and had satelitte TV. The complex is built on a hill and there are 5 blocks. The hill is manageable but maybe not for anyone with mobility problems. There are 3 pools all getting sun at some point throughout the day. The complex was very clean but was getting a bit tired looking. Although we did notice that they were carrying out maintenance work ie painting etc. There is a supermarket at the bottom of the hill, chinese restaurant, pizzeria and a bar. We didn't eat in either of them but did stop off for a drink in the bar. The apartment is well situated for the beach and also for a stroll along the front to Playa del Duque which is very upmarket (no touristy gift shops there!) The beach was great - it had a trampoline and soft play area for children - 6 euros for 1/2hr, 8 euros for 1hr or 15 euro for all day. A bit expensive but get them to save their pocket money!! In summary we had a great winter break and we got what we paid for in terms of our accommodation.
