This is one of the largest one bedroom apartments in this 3-star hotel. The lounge is 25ft x 10ft, with a private balcony immediately above and overlooking the swimming pools. The lounge is air-conditioned. There are three outdoor pools, one of which is heated, so it is ideal for winter visits. Sea views to La Gomera. Sunbathing areas set amongst exotic plants, some of these areas are relatively private. Poolside bar available for snacks and drinks. 24 Hour Reception and safe deposit boxes. Sheltered beach with good selection of water sports available - jet skis, canoes and pedaloes. Golf course 2 Km away. The hotel gardens and sunbathing areas are protected by a security gate for which you will be sent a key (this key also fits the security door between reception and the apartments themselves). The site is well protected.

TRANQUILITY. If you love the sun and the sea of Las Americas but loathe the noise and bustle then Altamira is the place for you. There is a much greater feeling of open space and peace at this end of Las Americas. Altamira is right on the seafront with a beach one minute away and the promenade is quiet - no jostling, pavement shops or timeshare touts. For the keen, the promenade walk can be enjoyed all the way to Los Cristianos on the opposite side of Las Americas. A few minutes walk in the other direction takes you to the 'viewpoint' near the fishing village of La Caleta - a wonderful panoramic view from here especially at sunset.

Just back from holiday

This is the second time we have stayed at the Altamira and the first time in this apartment. The apartment is excellent. Clean and tidy with comfy beds; plenty of hot water for a shower and a lovely balcony with excellent views. If you like a drink on the balcony in the evening you can also listen to the music/entertainment from the hotel opposite (not noisy),
There are plenty of good restaurants nearby and in Fanabe (which is a short walk away) and the surrounding area and hotel area is always clean and tidy.

Excellent apartment!

This apartment is in a good location in the complex overlooking the pool with everything you would need for a comfortable stay.
This is our second stay in Altamira and was every bit as good as the first time round. There are some really nice restaurants nearby and lots of lovely shops, quite expensive but good to have a look around.
We would definitely stay in this apartment again and recommend it to anyone wishing a quiet relaxing holiday.

A Lovely Apartment

This apartment is lovely, very clean and looks directly on to the pool and beach and is extremely large for a one bedroom. There is ample cutlery, plates, towels etc and very comfy beds there is large balcony which gets the sun all day. The sunsets are spectacular over La Gomera! There is a lovely cafe at the side of the complex (not expensive) and also a very good a la carte restaurant on the ground floor a little pricey but the food is excellent and plentiful. Anyone wanting a relaxing holiday in this extremely well run complex could not go wrong by booking this apartment.
