Notes to the rental rates

  • The price indicated is for a maximum of four persons in the apartment. Every additional person will be charged 75 euros per week extra.
    In order to secure your bookings, we ask for 300 euros deposit per week.
    The rest must be paid at least 6 weeks before arrival.
    During the holiday period of Easter (16.-30Mar08) and Xmas/New Year (20Dec08-4Jan09), there is a 300 euros supplement per week.
    Please ask for SPECIAL PRICE FOR LONG PERIODS. Special rates also for 2 people in June. Call for more details. Welcome pack on arrival with no supplement. Additional bed, baby cot and baby chair on request at no supplement. Meet and greet by the owners and tour of complex.
    Cancellation fees: Until 6 weeks before arrival, loss of the deposit (to cover administrative fees) , within 6 weeks before arrival 50 percent of the full amount, 4 weeks before arrival 100 percent of the full amount.
  • WELCOME PACK: There will be a bottle of local champagne in the fridge upon arrival, a bottle of whisky, a basket of fruits, 6 beers, 5 litres of mineral water and all which is necessary for your first breakfast.
  • Upon arrival: Owners shall welcome you and show you the apartment and the building.

Smoking is not allowed in the apartment, however, it is possible to smoke on the open terrace. The apartment is suitable for wheelchair access. To be noted, the terrace has an asset which you will not find anywhere else in El Duque rented apartments: it has lots of plants and flowers, watered by an automatic watering system. A big pergola, with a wooden decking, will allow you to use the huge terrace not only for sunbathing, but also for enjoying the sea views while having a drink or any of your meals. To be noted: Plasma TV also in the kitchen, with satellite connexion (British and other foreign channels). Many books in english are available in the apartment. A covered private garage space is available with a remote controlled door for your own comfort. No responsibility is accepted for loss, accident or injury personal or otherwise suffered by anyone whilst staying at the apartment and it is recommended that adequate travel insurance is taken by all occupants.

A safe is at your disposal to keep your valuables. Sewing kit, first aid kit, chess and playing cards are available as well. Internet access via Wifi. The apartment is furnished with top quality furniture. SWIMMING POOLS: Two, one for adults and one for children. Both of them are heated. SECURITY: There is a receptionist at the main reception during the day, and a night watchman whole night. The building has video surveillance, with screens in every reception, and direct access of the surveillance screens on internet. LOCATION:Terrazas del Duque II has three receptions. Your apartment is accessible through the main luxurious and very spacious reception. All receptions are tastefully decorated. TV: Several British channels are available, as well as French, German and Spanish channels. CLEANING: Cleaning will be organized once a week for an additional 20 pounds. WATER: Filters installed.

EL DUQUE AREA :

The prestigious El Duque area hosts several 5 star hotels among which one of the leading hotels in the world 'Bahia del Duque', who frequently hosts famous people (i.e. Jennifer Lopez, Sting or famous soccer players). You will love shopping at the 'Plaza Del Duque' commercial centre where you will find designer shops, fine restaurants and bars (French restaurant 'Chez Bébert', English restaurant 'The Willow Tree', Spanish restaurant 'La Hacienda', etc. etc.) The El Duque Shopping Centre hosts many other elegant shops and restaurants, a supermarket, and a very famous fitness club, managed by Mr. Universe and Mrs. Olympia. You can see them every day in the evening, and they can coach you personally. In the same block, there are 4 banks (Barclays Bank, Caja Canarias, CAM and BBVA), and nice shops (Lacoste etc...).

We were fortunate to be able to spend several weeks in Dominique and Daniel`s impressive apartment.

We have had a lovely time.

As soon as you enter the secure reception area of the building you can see that this is a very luxurious residential complex, with very attractive fittings and architecture. Most apartments enjoy larger than norm terracing.

The apartment itself is extremely spacious with a very large lounge, good sized double bedrooms and bathrooms and well equipped kitchen. The outside terrace area with its many flowers and shrubs is very impressive, offering pleasant views down to the sea and to the mountain behind. An excellent space for outside living and dining in the sunny Costa Adeje climate.

The pool area in the complex, although a little walk away from the apartment, is both stylish, attractive and practical with many sun beds and enjoys all day sun. During our stay the pool area was very peaceful and quiet.

The area that the complex is built in, is an exclusive area in Tenerife, with five star hotels, a beautiful beach and promenade (ten minute walk), together with up market shops, lounge bars and restaurants. A short car or taxi ride away you will find the attractive fishing village of La Caleta with its many good fish restaurants, or alternatively the old area capital town of Adeje, where more of the atmosphere of old Spain can be enjoyed. It is a far cry from the popular image of Las Americas.

It is no surprise that the apartment generates such a high level of interest. The complex and area are also excellent.
