This luxurious apartment has been beautifully furnished to ensure an incredibly comfortable stay. The master double bedroom, the twin second bedroom and the lounge/dining room all open out onto a large balcony. The complex itself is tiered in its layout. As this apartment is positioned in the centre of the top tier it affords the finest, most panoramic views on the entire complex, while distancing you from any road noise affecting those situated at the front. The breathtaking views across the ocean to La Gomera can be enjoyed from all three rooms. The entire apartment is equipped to a very high standard, offering everything needed for a quiet, relaxing holiday. The complex has a series of sloping walkways that lead to the apartment, plus a set of steps that lead to the frontdoor. The owners live nearby and are easily contactable to smooth any problems and answer any queries that may arise during your stay.

El Veril del Duque is located in the prestigious Bahia del Duque region of the Costa Adeje. The complex has a large swimming pool and the sandy Bahia del Duque beach is only 200 metres away. This is a quiet area boasting some lovely restaurants, bars and shops. A ten minute walk will bring you to the fishing village of La Caleta, where you will find some of the best fish restaurants on the island. Ten minutes in the opposite direction will take you to Fañabe, home to many lively bars and shops.

Location,Location,Location and sunshine too

Had a very relaxing stay at the apartment. We have stayed in the complex before but this is by far the nicest apartment with the best views. It had everything we could have needed for our stay and was obviously furnished with care and attention and scrupulously clean and fresh.

When the washing machine decided to have a funny turn the owner Richard was there within the hour to sort it out, so thank you for that.

The complex is located just above El Duque beach which in my opinion,certainly for couples is the nicest on the Island and undoubtedly the most up market. The gardens, pool area and public areas were attended daily by a team and were perfectly maintained. The pool in November was cold but refreshing and always clean and quiet.

La Caleta 10 minutes walk away has some outstanding fish restaurants and El Torro directly opposite the complex above the shops is also good. With the sterling/euro exchange rate so against us we did eat in occasionally and the apartment was equiped with all we needed in the kitchen. The big supermarkets are a five minute drive away.

I would recommend the apartment to couples and families. We intend to return again the same time next year for a week of winter sunshine.

Relaxing 5 Nights at El Veril del Duque

We arrived to be greeted by Richard the owner who kindly took and carried our cases up to the first floor appartment.
The appartment is immaculate and has everything you need for your holiday.
The appartment has a lovely view out to sea and you must be there to see the sunset it's really beautiful.
The appartment was very spacious and nicely furnished, all the rooms open on to the very large balcony with a table 6 chairs and 4 sunloungers,there are plenty of towels and all the equipment you need in the kitchen if you want to cook, however we didn't as there are lots of restaurants within a 5 - 10 minute walk, if you walk down hill you are on the lovely El Duque beach it's a lovely beach with really good sunloungers you have to pay 6 euros for them but worth it.

We will definately be going back, almost forgot thank you for the welcome pack you left us it was really appreciated especially the cold wine and beer ha!! thanks again

Highly recommended apartment

This was the perfect base for our stay in Costa Adeje. The apartment was of a very high standard: clean, comfortable, spacious and attractively decorated with all the comforts of home. The view from the balcony was fabulous and it was such a treat having breakfast out there every morning and watching the sunset in the evening.We appreciated the welcome pack when we arrived (especially the wine) and the welcoming note from the owners.
The complex itself is well maintained with lovely gardens and only a short walk to the attractive El Duque area of the resort, which has many excellent bars and restaurants.
We stayed in a hotel last year, but much preferred this apartment and hope to return for our next winter break.

Wonderful Apartment

This apartment is really lovely. It is spacious, clean and beautifully furnished. It contains everything you need for a perfect holiday. There was an abundance of clean towels and the bedding was clean and crisp. The balcony is fantastic with the most amazing sunsets.The leather sofas in the lounge were really comfortable and the kitchen contained everything that would be needed should you decide to cook a meal.
The complex is clean, peaceful and very secure with CCTV.
The whole area is lovely and very up-market. The restaurants and local bars are wonderful and the beach is superb. It is not buzzing with hectic night life but all this can be found in Playa de las Americas - if you want it.
If its a relaxing, romantic holiday you're looking for then this would be the place for you.
The owners were very helpful and their communications extremely proffesional.
Thank you for all your help and looking forward to our return next year!

What a view!

Wonderful apartment, clean, fresh, beautifully furnished and a fantastic view. Don't forget the binoculars!

The balcony is so spacious and the complex is very well kept. A short walk, (and lots of steps!) brings you to the beach, great promenade and plenty of restaurants.

The area is really nice and we felt safe at all times.

I would recommend it to couples wanting a little bit of heaven and anyone else except the very young or those with mobility problems. Sept 2008 and again soon, I hope!
