Many of our guests return on a very regular basis to this lovely one or two bedroom two bathroom apartment with its very large south facing terrace. We have recently completed a high spec upgrade to give that special touch of luxury to its decor. The main bedroom has a superking bed which can convert into two twin beds. The second bedroom has twin beds while the second bathroom has a jacuzzi shower. We constantly strive to equip the apartment to a very high standard to include oven/hob, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, fridge/freezer, blender, hairdryer, CD & DVD. There is satellite TV with UK & Irish channels. The apartment enjoys an excellent location beside the heated swimming pool and it is very secure for children. The large terrace catches the sun all day and into the evening while there is also a lovely shaded area for those who do not like too much sun. There is a poolside jacuzzi and separate children's pool. The apartment is wheelchair accessible.

Golf del Sur is a self contained town, with a golf course running through it. It is just a few minutes drive from the airport. Although well served by excellent restaurants, bars and shops, it is considered a quiet area. Yet it is only 10-15 minutes distance from the livelier nightspots of Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas. Taxis are plentiful and reasonably cheap. There is also an inexpensive public bus service, available at the door of the development. The apartment is located in the interior of the development and is sheltered from street and traffic noises. The apartment is a few metres away from a new seafront walkway, which gives spectacular sunrise views over Red Rock. The capital, Santa Cruz, is about an hour away and is well served by public buses. It contains several museums, a concert auditorium, lovely restaurants and serious shopping opportunities.

Notes: There is a bottle of bubbly to enjoy on your arrival. For late arrivals, we can arrange for a welcome pack, containing basic essentials for you. The new marina has now been completed. A new coastal walkway, very close to the apartment, offers a bracing three mile circuit, with spectacular views across the coast with great opportunities to witness an amazing sunrise or sunset. There are some strategically placed coffee shops along the way. It is a 10 minute walk to San Blas for more restaurants, bars, supermarket and other shopping. A further 10 minute walk across the beach will take you to Los Abrigos fishing village. For the more serious walker, there are several challenging walks amongst the four national parks that surround Mount Teide. Details and maps from local tourist office. If you don't feel up to a full round of golf, there is a driving range and practice area in the Golf del Sur course. There is also a challenging nine hole Par 3 at Los Palos a few miles away.

General: Duquesa del Mar is a luxury development of 89 apartments. The complex would be considered to be very prestigious in Golf del Sur. It is very conveniently located, close to all amenities, yet in a quiet location with keypad access. It is a relatively quiet area at night, and if you are seeking a more lively nightlife, this is best found in areas such as Los Cristianos or Playa de las Americas, a 10 minutes taxi ride away. Golf del Sur is not just about golf. There are some wonderful seafront walks with many excellent restaurants in the area serving a variety of food to include Teppan Yaki in the Sekura Teppan on the walk to the marina. This is well worth a visit. The Golden Dragon is a very good Chinese restaurant with reasonable prices and is just across the road. There are many other options for fish and meat. Marina I is very good in this regard and also reasonably priced.

Further Facilities: There are numerous facilities for all water sports and diving and snorkelling is particularly well catered for. The Tenerife Zoo, Loro Parque is an excellent day out, with many exotic species in a superb environment. This zoo is highly regarded internationally for its breeding programme and environmental approach. Siam Park is the new €52m Water Park with something for everyone, unbelievable rides and a manmade beach complete with waves. There is a wonderful outdoor bowls facility in the adjoining Winter Gardens complex. For people who have not tried this before, they hold a beginner's day on Wednesday at 11.00am with a bbq afterwards. It is great fun and reasonably priced and would need to be booked in advance as it is very popular. There are lots of markets in different locations on the island. Everything about the new additions to this apartment is wonderful - new furniture, second bedroom, new utility room, dishwaher!! Truly a restful enjoyable holiday. We heartily recommend this spot to anyone looking for the perfect holiday. We have been there 4 or 5 times already and have already booked for Spring! That really say it all!! Book early though. This apartment is increasing in popularity all the time!!

A Fab 2 weeks at No.35!

This was our first stay in the South of Tenerife and I felt lucky to have come across this gem of an apartment! Having strolled around the complex I think no. 35 is the best location. It has a huge patio with so many plus points.....(1) huge area in the sun for all the family to lie in the sun in the privacy of your own patio (2) large shaded area again with room enough for all to sit as well as the dining table to eat al fresco (3) it's a few steps away from the lovely pool!
Inside the apartment is lovely, and very well resourced,
The owners of the apartment were great and went out of their way to help us plan the holiday we wanted and made sure we had everything we needed.
A wide range of good restaurants in the area.
We would definitely use this apartment again if ever back in Tenerife and would highly recommend it to others.

\"I do definitely recommend to rent this property to anyone who does enjoy his holiday with a touch of home. I was really lucky to find this apartment and after this experience to rent this apartment I will skip from hotels and look always just for apartments! This apartment definitely worth money!
I went to Tenerife with my fiancé and his parents (they are retired), so we were looking for some accommodation where we will have privacy and we will not depend on early breakfast or will have to hurry back for dinner especially when enjoying time outdoors. This apartment has a beautiful terrace (the most of our time we have spent there) which is in the shadow and its suitable not just for those who doesn’t like too much sun, but also for those who love to have their breakfast on a fresh air with a view on the pool. Our morning coffee has always started with small refreshment in the pool. A patio is together with a terrace which is rounded by small trees which will give you extra privacy when you sun bedding (you can easily to put 4 - 5 sun beds next to each other and enjoy the sun...)
If you are outgoing person definitely won’t miss the opportunity to see Loro Park and Pico Del Teide (you can actually to go on the top of volcano 3817m). Check details on Google. It’s worth it!!!
We have enjoyed time in Tenerife and after 11 days when we had to go home we felt sorry that we didn’t book it for a bit longer... I will recommend this property to any of my friends!

Perfection at apt 35 Duquesa del Mar

I wanted;
a place that had a terrace that got sun; that wasnt far from my kitchen/fridge!; that had uk tv; that was modern and clean; that was peaceful.

All boxes ticked PLUS ;
great owner and local contact, easy to deal with and friendly; a jacuzzi a 30 second walk away; a pool, nice one too, 5 seconds walk away;great fans to cool me down; 2 mins to shop/cafe/pub/restaurant/sunset by the sea. Another mention for the huge terrace, sun all you want, shade too if you need it.

Honestly, what more can you ask for? Was hard for me to leave, it was PERFECT............thanks Ann.Will be returning. GRAEME, OMAGH, VISITED OCT 2009.

A great way to spend the summer.

Second visit to this complex but first time in 35. It blew the other villa out the water. Freshly decorated, refurbished to a very high standard and very comfy new leather suite were excellent to open the door to. Both bathrooms were very clean and smell free which isn't often easy in the heat. 20 feet from the pool which was brilliant for our daughter and a large shaded balcony when the heat became too much. Barbecue supplied which made a fine change other than normal cooking or going out. Nice patio set for eating outside sets it all off nicely. Has to be the best appartment in the complex and the only one I'd look to return to. A brilliant time was had by all and dealing with the owner was a pleasure.
