Winter Gardens. This exciting development on Golf del Sur was completed in 2002, it features an all weather floodlit bowling green made to international standards. Two apartments with 3 bedrooms are on the first floor, approached by either stairs or a lift, with a balcony, which receives sun from morning until night. The 2-bedroom apartment is on the 2nd floor accessed by either stairs or lift, and has a sea view from the balcony. On site there is a good sized swimming pool and children's pool alongside a restaurant which is open all day for snacks and drinks. Also on the complex is a gymnasium with sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi. Two garages are available on the complex should you hire a car. Please contact owners for website details of useful flight agents. This complex is in a very quiet area with no more than 20 people using the sunbeds.

This three twin bedded apartment sleeps 8 and also has a double sofa bed in the large lounge area. This leads onto a spacious balcony which receives sun from morning until night. A good sized kitchen is equipped with fridge/freezer, microwave, hob and oven, toaster and WASHING MACHINE and all requirements for 8 persons. Bedroom 1 has an en-suite bathroom with shower over bath, there is also a separate shower room. In the lounge there is a television CD, Cassete and Radio. Do to the problems we have had with Sky TV we now have BBC1, BBC2, ITV 3 , CHANNEL 4 there is still a chance that these will freeze this is out of our control. Linen and towels are provided and WE NOW HAVE A TRAVEL COT AVAILABLE FREE OF CHARGE

Winter Gardens is approximately 15 minutes walk from San Blas, restaurants and live free entertainment. Near to the complex is an excellent Chinese restaurant, Tapas bar, very good fish restaurant and also an Irish bar Pedros is now open on Winter Gardens + a Japanese Harbour Lights and a Mexican plus 2 or 3 other Restaurants 100 mts away on the sea front. A new marina is only 250 metres away.There is a large sandy beach at El Medano about 4 miles away Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas is about 15 minutes drive away.

Out & about the region.: Winter Gardens is approximately 15 minutes walk from San Blas Shops, Restaurants and live free entertainment. Near to the complex is an excellent Chinese restaurant, Tapas bar, very good fish restaurant and Irish bar. Something to suit everyone. A new marina is only 250 metres away. Situated at the nearby golf club is putting green, driving range and mini golf, there is also a tennis court. A short walk from San Blas is the fishing village called Los Abrigas where some of the finest seafood restaurants in Tenerife can be found. Because of the terrain this walk is only suitable in daylight. The nearest large beach is at El Medano about 4 miles away Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas is about 15 minutes drive away.

From no 27s guest book 2006. First time in Tenerife Mum Dad 10 yo 9 yo 7 yo 6 yo plus Gran & Grandad in no 16 loved the Rural Hotel in Granadilla no chips or nuggets here, exept real food best wishes Amie & Jane.
We have thourghly enjoyed our holiday,pool excellent cant wait for September many thanks Derrick & Shelia
It was nice to come back to a peaceful area after a tiring day out, the water sports were great especially the jet sking love it Manprit Panesar and friends.
We were really pleased to walk in to a spacious clean apartment weather has been really hot we have had a great and relaxing holiday Bob Knapp & Family.
From no 28s guest book. we had a lovely holiday here at Winter Gardens weather was excellent and had several swims in the pool,lovely area we had not been for a few years and saw many changes, Resturants nearby are excellent, Thanks Dick Wilma Kyle.
Lovely spacious apartment lads really enjoyed the freedom move around Resturants great overall exe will come again

A Holiday in the Sun

A party of 6 adults stayed in apartments 27 & 28, and as they were next door to each other, it worked really well. We were able to eat, drink and socialise altogether. The apartments were comfortable and roomy and conveniently situated to enable us to walk out to a different restaurant every evening. We mostly treated ourselves to a Great British breakfast at the Harbour Lights at the little harbour/marina area, but it was also easy to get any essentials nearby. We picked up a hire car from the airport with no trouble and were settled in the apartments within half an hour. Parking is conveniently placed on site under the bowling greens. The pool was the warmest outdoor pool we have been in and there were plenty of sunbeds for everyone without having to get up early with your towel to reserve one!!!! Pedros restaurant on site was very good and had a Spanish night which we enjoyed. Golf del Sur was a good base to explore along the south coast where we found some good beaches and also to go inland and up to Mt Teide, which was visible from the resort.
Altogether a very relaxing stay.

Stayed during May 2008 with my wife, her parents and sister/brother-in-law. Apartment is spacious & clean with good amenities (including hairdryer, iron, ironing board, tv, DVD, CD Player, washing machine). Close to sea and directly opposite some bars/restaurants, with others being only a short walk on the sea front. 15 mins drive from airport (although not much noise from air traffic). Pool area very nice with snack bar next door & Pedro's restaurant around the corner. We preferred San Blas (15 mins walk) for night-time entertainment as Golf del Sur was quite quiet. Some building work going on opposite the apartment whilst we were there but didn't cause too much disturbance (I guess work should be finished by end of Summer). There is Golf Course nearby and Green Bowls on site too, although we didn't partake in these activities!

> spacious and very clean apt. needed agent to explain tv but he was easily contacted despite it being xmas eve and really helpful. pool was lovely, lots of comfy sunbeds and pool bar staff were great. outside verandah the first 3 days was great. people passing on street below but interesting and not obtrusive. finally the owner was really helpful on the phone and seems a really nice man, easy to deal with which is always a bonus. thanks for a great holiday. will use you again
