Port Royale apartments are modern and are on a very attractive, quiet complex, built in white Moorish style with an abundance of flowers and plants. We offer a quality holiday rental apartment in probably the premier position with small touches such as pleasant cutlery and crockery and comfortable seating,- we take pride in our guests being satisfied and have repeat bookings year after year. All amenities are on hand yet it is only a 10 -15min downhill stroll to the centre of Los Cristianos and on to the nightlife of adjoining Playa de Las Americas. The complex has lovely pool (heated in Winter), launderette and popular restaurant (with take away facility) on site, with supermarket and plenty of quality restaurants all within reasonable walking distance. If you tire of admiring the sunsets from the balcony, the Beverly Hills Club around the corner has bars, the LA Showbar and indoor sports centre with squash courts, ten pin bowling (2 lanes) and children's games area. Cooked breakfasts and daytime snacks are available from the attractive patio piano bar there or fresh rolls can be bought daily locally. Hollywood Mirage opposite the front entrance of Port Royale has a fitness centre that is open for visitors for a small weekly charge. Port Royale has Internet access during reception opening hours, also Internet cafes are available nearby.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Kindly note our apartment is suitable for more mature couples only - sorry but we do not accept bookings from anyone under 30 or families with young children.
    Prices quoted are for 2 people.
    After confirming your chosen dates with us we then hold the booking for 5 working days to allow you to make your flight arrangements and to send us the deposit of £50 per week.
    The outstanding balance is due 6 weeks before departure date.
    Please note the lead name is responsible for all guests and only the persons named on the booking form are entitled to occupy the apartment.
    Full arrival pack including map, site plan and all details you require will be sent to you once full payment has been received.
    Discount for bookings of over 3 weeks.
    Please note - We accept payment either by cheque or by direct transfer to our bank account in the UK in Sterling.
    For guests from outside the UK we are happy to accept a direct bank transfer to our account in Tenerife in Euros.
  • Due to the fact there are now frequent and often daily flights to Tenerife from most airports we are happy to occasionally accept bookings for long weekends etc. when we have odd days to fill. Perhaps a lovely last minute surprise for someone?

    Golf lovers will love the close proximity to many golf courses in the area and the (perhaps) non -playing other half will feel perfectly at ease either on the balcony or by the pool.
  • Tenerife is only just over 4 hours flying time from most UK airports. The currency is the Euro and although the Canary Isles are classed as in the EC Tenerife still has tax free status so drinks, perfume, cigarettes etc are still cheaper. The Canaries are on the same time zone as the UK.

Notes: Large sunny balcony with patio table/chairs for leisurely outdoor eating, also 2 sun loungers. Patio blind for shade on those hot days. Ceiling fan iron/board, also hairdryer provided. Satellite TV with good range of English channels incl. BBC1 & 2, ITV. Sky Sports1 etc. Free use of safe. This large, well appointed studio is very comfortable with twin beds, 2 sofas, double wardrobes & new fully tiled bathroom with walk in shower / marble wash basin / vanity unit. All towels and bedding supplied, with linen changes for stays of over one week - just bring beach towels. Our apartment is on the top (3rd) floor - the sunny balcony gives you complete privacy. WE DO NOT accept bookings from young couples or families with young children as we feel this complex would appeal more to older guests who would enjoy the climate and scenery but would appreciate quiet nights.

Around and about: Los Cristianos is an interesting little town, with large harbour and port where daily ferries run to neighbouring islands and has excellent golden sand beaches. The town has international restaurants and local tapas bars galore, mainly situated in the old town area where tables spill out onto the pavement and the evenings can be spent admiring the stunning sunsets over the sea, or just people watching. There is a pleasant central square with church and many local shops in the mainly pedestrianised old town. Lovely flat promenade walk into Playa de Las Americas, Costa Adeje and beyond as far as the lovely little fishing village of La Caleta. Car Hire and Taxis are very reasonable but not necessary as the central bus station, with links to all over the island is just 10 mins. walk away

Excursions: Book a whales and dolphins trip out to sea from the port, visit the large Sunday market on the front in Los Cristianos, visit the spectacular Mount Teide which is the largest mountain in Spain, see the award winning Loro Parque Zoo in Puerto de La Cruz. A lovely day out nearer to home is to visit Jungle Park, set high in the hills behind Los Cristianos where there are free flying birds of prey. tigers and much more. Day trips to the neighbouring island of La Gomera on the ferry. Tenerife truly is an island for all ages - a place where you can choose the type of holiday you want. Of course the temperate climate in Tenerife makes it ideal for both summer and winter holidays and with a flying time of just over 4 hours you don't have to go long haul.

Sporting activities: All water sports available. Many beautiful golf courses within a very short distance. If you require further assistance with a golfing holiday please ask.

Beautiful Apartment Port Royale

Just returned from a fabulous weeks holiday, spotless apartment, on a beautiful complex, great private balcony, perfect for sunbathing, spent long relaxing days baking on it, weather perfect for this time of the year plenty of reasonably priced restaurants, Indian, Chinese, English doing 3 courses for 8 Euros, with plenty of choices. Bars very lively, and also quiet romantic ones, plenty of choice for everyone. Would definately return.

Port Royale Tenerife

We have just returned from a week at Port Royale and the apartment was everything as described and more. It was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained and the welcome pack (water, coffee, sugar, etc.) was a nice touch.
The views and the size of the balcony were wonderful, no need to leave the apartment to sunbathe!
There are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance, including the LA Show Bar at the Beverley Hills Club which has varied entertaniment all week.
The Roma Grill Restaurant is well worth a visit as is Belvederes (above the supermarket) - lovely food and fantastic view.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this property and have already booked again for next year.

We've just returned from our week's holiday in this lovely Apartment. It was so relaxing - the beds and settees were so comfortable - I've never enjoyed myself so much on holiday. The views from the apartment are breathtaking and the complex is so clean and quiet. The pool was really warm and we enjoyed a swim most days.

We've just sent our booking enquiry off for 2010 so as not to be disappointed!! Can't wait to return.

A superb studio apartment with fantastic views

In October, my husband and I spent two perfect weeks in this superb studio apartment which was immaculate and we felt that some thought had gone into providing all amenities required for a comfortable holiday. We found it to be spacious despite being a studio and it provides very generous space for clothes. The views from the large balcony over Los Cristianos are fantastic, the sunsets spectacular and being so high up, there is usually a little breeze to counter the heat, although there is also shade available. Port Royale is a quiet, very attractively laid out complex away from some of the bustle that one would expect of the centre of Los Cristianos. It never appears busy and the apartment is near to the lovely pool. A few minutes walk away is La Colmena - an excellent supermarket (with fresh bread every morning) and above it is Belvedere, a restaurant with views and only one of several good restaurants (such as Bella Roma) within easy walking distance and without going too far down into the town. The harbour area with many excellent restaurants and shops is a very pleasant 20-25 mins walk depending on the pace and a taxi back up the hill is very reasonable. For those without a car, the bus station with services to all parts of the island is about half way to the harbour. I am not given to gushing over holiday accommodation but this studio really is excellent - so much so that our next visit is already booked!
