Cactus 1 lies in a central location just behind the Church. The complex, with its magnificent views from the rooftop swimming pool to the harbour and beach beyond is but a 2 minute walk from the centre of Los Cristianos and just 4 minutes to one of several beaches. The apartment, having recently been refurbished to a high standard, takes in views of the mountain and the village and is central for an abundance of restaurants, bars, shops and activities, so a car is unnecessary. Although Cactus is close to all these amenities, the complex is quiet and away from all the hustle and bustle, thus enabling you to read in private or dine alfresco on the balcony and take in the beauty of the lights from the village below, before retiring for a good night's sleep. Cactus also benefits from a mini supermarket. So if you are looking for everything within close proximity, yet still be away from the noise, Cactus is a must and located just 20 mins from Tenerife South airport.

Without doubt one of the most popular resorts in The Canary Islands, Los Cristianos is situated just 15 km west of the southern airport Reina Sofia. With the wonderful harbour as its focal point, the town has managed to retain some of the architecture and character of its original incarnation as a sleepy fishing village. The artificial beaches are gorgeous and there are plenty of excursions running from the harbour area, such as fishing trips, pleasure cruises, glass bottomed boats, diving excursions and ferries to La Gomera. Or if you are an avid market goer, try the extremely popular Sunday market next to the Arona Gran hotel. For those of you seeking entertainment after a sun soaked day on the beach or round the pool then Los Cristianos should certainly have something to your liking. With a vast array of pubs, clubs, restaurants and bars the town’s lively nightlife caters for a couples and families alike. Los Cristianos is also ideally situated for exploring the island.

Additional information about rental rates

  • This price is for 2 people. An extra £35 per person supplement is added per week.
    A supplement of £125 is added for Christmas and New Year weeks. Plus the £35 per extra person per week. A £50 non refundable deposit is required to the owner to secure your booking and the balance due 8 weeks prior to departure. A refundable deposit is also taken of £100 to cover any breakages and the return of the key when the final balance is due.
  • The apartment is available at 3pm on arrival and must be vacated by 10 am on departure. Should you have a late
    departure please discuss with the owner and providing there is no one arriving the same day we will try and
    accommodate you.
  • The owner accepts no responsibility for any loss, injury or accident whether personal or otherwise suffered by you while staying at the apartment and recommend you take out suitable insurance before travelling.

    Price includes linen and towels only, you will need to provide your own beach towels.

The location of Cactus 1 is very good, couple os stairs and you are in the center and on the harbour beach, couple of more stairs the other way of Cactus and you are on the bigger beach with the fountain. Of course the view from the balcony depends very much which apartament you are renting, you can have the view on the not finished building, not on the ocean. All in all, Cactus 1 is a great place and Barry, the man who takes care of the complex is very helpfull. The time spent in Cactus was great and I strongly recommend this place.
