Los Cristianos holiday apartment

We stayed here for 3 weeks in Feb/March 2008. We travelled with our 15 month-old daughter and my parents.

Both bedrooms would have been spacious enough to have accomodated the travel cot which was provided by the owner. We chose to put it in the master bedroom (which has the ensuite) and there was still plenty of room.

The lounge and kitchen are fully equipped and contain all utensils and crockery that you would have at home. No need to bring your own bottle opener!

There is even a washing machine - which was ideal with a young toddler and when staying for 3 weeks.

The apartment was in a great location, although not for the faint-hearted as it is up a steep hill away from the beach. We thought this was an advantage as the area was quiet, but it was only a short walk to the beach and from there a gentle stroll along the good boardwalk into Los Cris centre. We walked as far as Playa De Las Americas on a few occasions and found it easy going as it is so flat.

My parents like to walk and it was only a short stroll to the bus station at Los Cris which meant they could go all around the island. They found this a great advantage and even took the bus back to the airport when they left.

Lynn, the owner, is very accomodating and was able to help with all sorts of pre-travel queries from supermarkets to restaurant recommendations.

Our only criticism would be that in 3 weeks of staying the apartment wasn't cleaned. Although the linen and towels were changed regularly.

We would definitely return to this apartment in the future and would highly recommend it to families or couples looking for a quiet base just out of the centre.
