Los Gigantes holiday apartment: Puerto Santiago

This apartment was well appointed with a great view over Los Gigantes. '327' is on the third floor and we got sun on the large balcony from mid-day until sunset over Gomera (we visited in October 2009)
It was very clean, modern and nicely decorated.
The apartment complex has a good swimming pool and pool bar with shaded seating area.
It is situated near a large supermarket and within walking distance of lots of lovely eating places.
The area has lots of hills and your leg muscles will certainly be built up during your stay.
The service from the owner was very good with them providing detailed helpful notes about the apartment and the surrounding area.
We would be more than happy to return to this apartment or recommend it to friends."

We had a lovely holiday in this apartment. Because we are both highly stressed teachers (don't argue or laugh!!!!) we wanted a quiet apartment where nobody would bother us. That's pretty much what we got. In fact we spent around 80% of our time on the balcony looking at the great view over the Atlantic to America - reading books and recovering. The complex itself has a nice feel to it and was quite quiet when we were there. The owner, had described the apartment accurately and gave us superb instructions as to where to find places eg supermarket (which is so close that even I did some of the shopping without complaint!) She is very, very helpful and friendly. The property was well-maintained and clean, the bins were emptied every day and the apartment was cleaned once each week. We had never been to Los Gigantes before and found it to be pretty but a little limited for strolling around - epecially since we were there in the hottest season (July). The complex is at the top of a short, sharp hill but we had no real trouble negotiating that - although we got a bit sweaty doing it. There are plenty of cheap taxis for those who can't face the climb. There seemed to be a lot to do/see if you wanted boat/bus trips. (The people next door to us were hardly ever seen because they were obviously not teachers and had more energy to spare on activities). There are plenty of restaurants and we were happy with the one we used above the harbour. To conclude, we went to Tenerife to watch the sun do what it should do (the sunset from the balcony is beautiful to behold) and to relax in shorts, tee-shirts and sandles! I shaved 4 times in the fortnight!! It was ideal for us in that this apartment delivered.

Our week was wonderful, tho just a memory now. The property was excellent, absolutely as described, the kitchen had everything you could want, shower good, beds comfortable, lounge nice with huge no. of dvd's, games to play and about 40 books to read. But the best was the huge balcony, sun until about 8 at night, then wonderful sunsets, but shade too if you wanted. Was very quiet in the complex at nightime, so slept like tops!
Good area for walking, very central, and near good bus service routes. Ate well out every day, especially liked Casa Pedro in Puerto Santiago, and Fisherman's for a gin and tonic or two, just for the view.
Hope to go back, and would certainly recommend to friends.
