We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would use this complex again. The staff were friendly and helpful, the complex was tranquill, clean, and free from insects. The pool was clean, warm, and the depth suited us precisely.The provision of an honesty library was good.,, and provision of accessible rubbish disposal a help.We felt that it was good value.
The practice of reserving sunbeds with towels was annoying, although in November there were always beds available, but not the best situations.The one bedroom apartment was clean, but utilitarian. The beds comfortable, and the balcony, with furniture was very good, The kitchen was the poorest part of the apt. Inaccessable cupboards,tiny two ring heater, and hot water which was dangerously hot and not variable except via the mixer tap.
This was also a problem with the shower and wash basin.
The kitchen and bathroom would be improved with extractor fans.No cushions for sun beds (balcony or pool) were provided. The presence of a small dog just outside the complex,which yapped whenever anyone walked past was very distracting.
We found the restaurants of the "International" variety, and required care in the choice of dishes ordered. Marios - Duck special avoid the house red. Boulevarde - splendid mussels, and fish in general. Avoid their sauces. Royal Beach - very friendly, entertainment after 9.30pm some nights(This could be a plus or a MINUS) Sea bream and sea bass very good - careful of the bones. Slow boat very good prices of their banquets and wines very reasonable. The large underground supermarket diagonnaly opposite was very well stocked. The best buy on the island was the Bonobus ticket. You must remember this is 110% a holiday island and acopt the recquisite attitude!
