General information: Playa de las Americas is very well served by buses which will take you to all parts of Tenerife. The cheapest way to travel is to buy a 'Bono' card in advance (although it is not obligatory) as this will give you a discount on all your trips. Mount Teide, Santa Cruz and Puerto de la Cruz are all within reach providing access to Loro Park, Parque Nacional de las Canadas del Teide, camel touring etc etc. Taxis are comparatively cheap and will get you around Playa de las Americas, Los Cristianos and any of the local Golf courses.
Golf: Club Atantis is ideally situated for easy reach within 15 - 20 minute taxi ride to FIVE golf courses. Golf las Americas (9 Holes), Adeje Golf (9 holes soon to become 18), Los Palos (9 holes par 3), Golf del Sur (18 holes) and Amarilla Golf (18 holes). All but Los Palos will require a handicap certificate. For your non-golfing partner, beaches, whale/dolphin trips, sunbathing at Club Atlantis pools, bars and restaurants all beckon whilst you are playing in the rough, on the fairway, the green or even the '19th' hole!
