The complex was not a holiday complex it was residential.
After repeated emails to the owner to discuss our problems we have not as yet received any reply.
Owner's Response: Thank you for taking the time to provide a review. firstly I received a telephone call on Sunday 20th September 09 at 3pm, I requested that the caller email their concerns this was received on Friday 2nd October 09 at 6.02pm. So I fail to see how I failed to respond to the 'repeated emails'.
The agents also lookafter Villas for 'James Villas' who expect a high standard of service and cleanliness. I have been working with them for over six years and have never had any cause for concern.
The agents were telephoned on Sunday 20th September 09 for their initial comments, they advised that they had not been aproached by the guests in respect of their concerns during their stay.
The agents should always be the first point of contact as they are on site and can deal with any issues, I understand that this did not happen.
Instructions for Micowaves, Cookers and Washing machine - These appliances are standard in most homes and therefore are usually easy for most people to operate!
Light Bulbs - as we can never be sure when a bulb will go a small number of spares are available in the utility room.
Toilet and Kitchen Rolls are also stored in the utility room -if not ask the agent and they will provide.
Adequate Plates, cups were provided, if more are needed the agents will supply, but they have to be asked.
Cleaning equiptment, Vacume, Mop & Bucket are provided to clean the tiled floors. If anything else is required the agents should be contacted.
The Spanish electricity system is governed by Spanish Law and is different to the UK. If too many appliances are on at the same time the breakers will trip for safety reasons.
The complex is a mixture of holiday and residential, this is stated in the advert.
Dogs - We have no control over irrisponsible dog owners, but have taken the issue seriously and made a formal complaint to the Police and Complex President.
