This spacious one bedroom, two bathroom (non smoking) apartment is built on the exclusive development of Duquesa del Mar, in the heart of Golf del Sur, Tenerife. This development is generally considered to be one of the finest in the area and the apartment is located within close proximity to the newly built marina. There is a good choice of bars, shops and restaurants, all within walking distance, including two Italians, a Mexican, Chinese and the recently opened Teppanyaki restaurant, there is also a choice of two supermarkets close by. The apartment is beautifully furnished to a very high standard and comes with plenty of home comforts, including a washing machine, microwave, fridge freezer and 32' LCD TV/DVD with UK channels, security is good with CCTV and coded access points, the apartment is south facing and benefits from a large sun terrace leading out on to the heated swimming pool. For those hiring a car the apartment comes with its own underground parking space

The apartment is ideally located, situated within close proximity to the newly developed marina and although Golf del Sur is a quieter resort than the well known popular Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos (10Km away), there is a good choice of bars, shops and excellent restaurants to choose from within a very short walking distance (200yards), including two Italian restaurants, a Chinese, Mexican and the recently opened Teppanyaki Japanese restaurant, which is excellent, there is a choice of two supermarkets within walking distance, one of which is adjacent to the complex. A 15 minute walk will bring you to San Blas commercial centre where you will find three picturesque squares each with an array of boutiques, good quality bars and restaurants, banks, a doctor, a chemist, a large supermarket and an internet café.

Additional information about rental rates

  • To secure a booking we require a £100 reservation fee which can be paid by any of the following methods, personal cheque, Postal Order or by PayPay. We also ask for your flight itinerary details to be sent by email , this helps us to make sure that the changeovers are done smoothly and ensures everything is fresh and ready for you in good time for your arrival.
    The full balance of the rental is paid no later than 2 weeks prior to the date of your departure, whereby the initial £100 reservation fee is retained at that time, as a deposit against 'damages & breakages', this deposit will be refunded to you when you return home, assuming of course there has been no damages or breakages.
  • Our availability calendar is normally accurate, however, it is always advisable to contact us to confirm as we may have other availability which may be suitable. i.e. other friends property on the same complex etc..

Notes: The apartment is south facing and has a large sun terrace to the front and both sides of the property, the terrace has the benefit of two large sun canopies if shade is preferred and is surrounded by a small walled garden which provides extra privacy. There is a small gate leading out to the heated swimming pool, children’s pool and heated Jacuzzi all of which are only a few paces away. We have stayed in this apartment 3 consecutive summers. I have travelled with my young daughter and elderly mother and found the accomadation to be ideal. It is ideal vacinity to the chidlrens pool for my daughter to have 'some' freedom but able to keep an eye on her!
We have always found Mark and Lorraine to be more than helpful and have already recommended this apartment to family and friends
I'm sure we'll return soon

Perfect Peacefull Getaway

We had a lovely peacefull, quiet and relaxing holiday in a clean, secure and well maintained complex. Ideal for the couple looking for a quiet romantic getaway in the sun avoiding the usual hustle and bustle of package holidays. The complex is the quiet resort of Golf del Sur so there are plenty of bars and resturants to choose from, a short 10 min walk away is the town of San Blas, highly recomend the Tapas Bar, if you don't want to walk there is a taxi rank out side the complex. Also across the road and walk down to the promenade an there is a brilliant eating experience in the Japanese resturant go for the Teppanyaki.
I would also recomend the property to families with young children/babies. The appartment is right beside the pool so there are no long treks with prams and all other essentials. We have a baby on the way and will return as it was so peacefull with out the usual problem children found on package holidays so using the pool won't be like a military operation.
